  SADA is meant to alleviate the difficulties of the northern people but it seems that the operators are going the way of other institutions. How can any body convince me that the Asongtaba Group has investments up to GHC25million in the Upper East. SADA has contributed GHC15million as 40%shareholding in Asongtaba and Asongtaba has contributed GHC25million representing 60% shareholding. How did Asongtaba arrive at the figure of 25 million Ghana Cedis. Was it creative accounting to produce non existent profits that were ploughed back as shares or was it cash paid in by Asongtaba. Who are the Auditors of Asongtaba?
  Please, the Board should get think tanks of retired civil and professional persons in each region to come up with priorities instead of a few people taking decisions that may not be in the interest of the north. 32million Ghana Cedis for nursing tree seedlings looks too high. The Board may be working earnestly but they may be on a sloppy hill waiting to crash.

Where and how much land has been made green with this money? What types of trees did you plant? I hope these included mangoes and other trees with high economic benefits.

  1. The SADA board was appointed several months before the CEO was appointed and the board managed SADA contrary to good corporate governance. Even when a CEO was appointed Andani with his cronies ie Dr. Jebuni and Dr. Sule Gariba now at the presidency never gave a free hand to the CEO to do the day to day management of SADA .
  2. Andani who is exiting stanbic for non performance and virtually not knowing where to get a job is milking SADA. Who is behind the SADA hydrofon housing project? etc
  3. Why is SADA still not having a full compliment of its critical staff? Why did Andani imposed a procurement officer who he sacked from stanbic on SADA ? Who is still keeping Dr. Jebuni who is 68 years old in SADA?

  How can the project reduce poverty through income-generating activities when SADA has used most of the allocated money to acquire 40% interest in a single guinea fowl venture? Wouldn't it have been more beneficial if SADA had used the money to provide capital (loans) for small-scale guinea fowl farmers to expand their businesses? What is so strategic about guinea fowl farming that government should directly acquire a stake in it when we have even sold our interests in gold operations? Hello, where the brains in NDC?   Some of us are reminded of the Rabbit project under Mr Mamahta at Kwabenya some years ago during one of our erstwhile regimes. Lots of money went into it and today there is nothing to show for it. The building is now occupied by a church and all the farm land converted into residences. The idea of diversifying our protein sources was excellent but bad planning,lack of objectives and accountability, greed and downright dishonesty etc, etc which have been our bane since time immemorial overtook us. I bet you it is the same thing which will happen to us again and when called upon to account we will say the guinea fowls flew into the wild. All the tax payers money is gone

So as the zeera group that is drawing millions of Ghana cedis with a huge inflated numbers of non existing employees. In as much as I acknowledge the work that they are doing I paused to ask whether what we are paying for their services is truly what they deserve. This country of ours is in a very serious problem. The system has failed to properly keep an eye on our national purse such any person can deep his or her hand into it and sell to us anything at his or her determined price.
  Manessah Azure did an exposé of NYEP but deliberately cover up the inflated monies paid to zeera and RLG at NYEP.
  The recently commissioned ministry of foreign we are told cost about 93 million dollars when it can be built for 25 million dollars and even of better quality.
  H. E who priced the Tamale international airport. Project? H. E. get independent valuers and I mean independent valuers from your new found friends in Turkey and you shall save over 100 million dollars for Ghana. Our projects in Ghana have been priced beyond international acceptable pricing and have become a laughing stock abroad. This has become a concern in many diplomatic circles abroad, that you have not been able to break the chain of over pricing that was commissioned by the NPP.
