HAD NDC MANAGED THE ECONOMY WELL, THESE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SITUATION. NDC HAS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES GHANA HAS EVER HAD. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED MORE LOANS THAN ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT IN OUR HISTORY, BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS. GHANAIANS SHOULD HAVE ENJOYED SOME ECONOMIC PROGRESS AT THIS TIME IN OUR HISTORY. THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CORRUPT. TO RESCUE THE SITUATION, THE POOR IS NOW BEING FORCED TO PAY. THIS IS INJUSTICE. THIS IS NOT THE GHANA KUFFOUR HANDED OVER TO NDC, HE EVEN ADDED FRESH CRUDE OIL WELLS. NPP TRANFORMED GHANA TO A MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMY WITH LIMITED RESOURCES BUT GOOD POLICIES. NDC IS WOEFULLY REVERSING THESE NPP ACHIEVEMENTS. GHANA'S CURRENT SITUATION IS VERY DISTURBING. WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. Why Teachers don't go on strike for the eratic power supply but always for pay increament that most of them don't deserve, they often delay what they must teach during the regular teaching hours just to teach them at the extra classes. Any student that want to make in life will manage his or her time efficiently, when the light are out you need to go have some rest which do not require light and get back to your studies when the light is in. The situation not the best though but one can make good use of the residual opportunity available.

Whilst I agree with you about addressing the grievances to the right people, do you not think that their voices are not represented by several others? It is almost as if you expect these students to stop their difficult studying to go stand outside Mahamas house to tell him things he knows already. It is also a very cold attitude to say that there is nothing you can do - That is the very selfish attitude that has contributed to the sorry state of Africa on a whole. If the individual is selfish, why won't the leadership be the same?

I understand C.O.D. I really do and I symphathize with everyone suffering. I must have called at least six kids into my home this morning on their way to school to let them read this. Told them see you have oppurtunity, but these children don't even have lights. Being poor and Black is no excuse not to try! Because life is a struggle and if they can try, you can to. As an elder one of my functions is encouragement and the other is correction. So I'll probably keep talk,talk talking because I'm gonna keep encouraging the youth. To the youth and the people of Ghana keep striving, we shall overcome as Africans.

MOST OF US MADE THE GRADE TO LOWER & UPPER SIX THEN TO THE UNIVERSITY. THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLD DAYS. THESE STUDENTS HAVE NO EXCUSE. IF THEY FAIL THEIR EXAMS, THEY SHOULD.
