  I was hoping for other constructive comments and implementations that can be administered now to aid the movement of goods through the ports at the quickest efficient feasible cost to traders, business people and those returning from abroad. The government is head bent to collect all his taxes at the ports, pushing inflation very high indeed in the country. Ghana has the most expensive port associated costs compared to the rest of the continent and even Cote De Voire with a new modern port does not charge to such extreme heights which aims at crippling businesses especially small ones and newly set ones. Simple issues could take so long to resolve to frustrate and extort more money from clients.

WITH ALL THE MPs AND MINISTERS WE CAN SOLVE THESE WITHIN A TWINKLE OF AN EYE. FOR HOW LONG HAVE WE NOT BEEN COMPLAINING i.e. THE SANITATION AND NOISE BY CHURCHES BUT NO ONE CARES.

  1. Why can't we use Electronic Data Exchange when goods are shipped?
  2. Why does one need a clearing Agent to clear goods from Ghana's ports (GPHA website).
  3. Why do you need IRS certificate to clear goods from Ghana's ports?
  4.Why is it that the contents of cars and other goods can be looted when these come through Ghana's ports?
  5.Why does the gov't seize cars and other goods and give them civil servants?
  You know these Dr, you know what needs to be done. You must sort it out.
