So the govt easily finds millions of cedis to buy tea cups with the photo of Egya Atta embossed on it and shares it among school kids, but never finds the money to pay monies owed to teachers.

Govt easily finds money to pay dubious judgement debts to its cronies, but finds the money to pay Teachers their due.

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. Contracts awarded to political opponents were abrogated and the judicial body found it prudent to compensate the affected contractors.

The government then found it cost effective to make payments in order to avert escalating interests, so Jato, as you masticate the limbs of a chimpanzee, take a critical look at your fingers!!

Look for the Daily Graphic 7 March 2011 with the front page headline, 'Your Reward is Here,' President assures teachers. Professor Mills assured teachers that 'the anomalies occasioned by a genuine attempt to migrate them ontn the SSSS will be rectified and the appropriate remuneration paid to them'.
If two years down the line it takes a strike action to get the matter heard, are our state institutions working? You may hate Mr Baako, but please accord him his due.

This article is a contribution to matters arising out of retired Justice Kpegah’s allegations against Nana Akufo Addo.

Ghana media has turned everything into politics because that is where they sell their papers. Everybody is aware that the various institutions are not performing. It does not matter whether NPP. NDC or any other party is in power. The staff have been there for long and use their long atay in the offices to do their own thing and rob the people and the goivernment. They have become untouchables because they will use stooges and power conscious people like Kweku Baako to publish anything stupid to cast a slur on the ruling government. Ghana's problem is due to the corrupt judicial system, money hunger media and the weak police system. Sometimes, somebody like JJ need to organise a coup to come and deal with the recalcitrant ones.
