NPP wants to be the an unofficial adopted son of the Republican party. copying it color to color and elephant to elephant, but what Republicans and Democrats did that both NDC and NPP are blind to is these US parties fashioned the their colors out of the national color and every rally they're mounting, they make sure their national flag the stars and stripes is fully represented.

We made every effort to take Ghana out of our political functions and everything we do is merely reduced to party colors.

The NPP is Busia/Danquah ideological party.Who is Busia and who is Danquah?Some people believe Busia and Danquah were more educated than Kwame Nkrumah and are also moderate in International Affairs compared to Kwame Nkrumah.Unfortunately,Busia and Danquah came from royal background which has influenced their passion for traditional politics.Kwame Nkrumah on the other hand came from ordinary background and has less interest in traditional politics.I think that is why Nkrumah prefered inclusive,scientific,pragmatic and modern methods.NPP is not only for Akyem/Ashantis but they happened to have more supporters than other tribes but I agree that they need to make some reforms to present non Akyem or Ashanti leadership.As for now,the NDC is using Nkrumah's style of governance,giving every ordinary man the chance to exile.Thank you.

The issues raised in the article are petinent. However,we should not loose sight of the fac that under the party constitution before you are elected as the presedential flag bearer of the NPP, you have to go through the democractic procees to be elected by 100,00 delegate. To be able to attain this feat you need be popular, charistmatic and must have other qualities before you get the nod as the presidential aspirant of the party. This means that we cannot simply impose a non Akan person so as to win an election. The non Akan person like his counter-part should earned the position on merit.
