Should we really care about her competence level in Ghanaian politics? At worst, she looks youthful, highly photogenic(photo shopped), but also nice genes. Most Ghanaians are extremely ugly, especially the men. In most societies, the newer generation are physically transforming and looking cuter and taller than their parents. In Ghana an amazing phenomenon is taking shape, of course population has blossomed, but the number of incredibly ugly male population is alarming. Seriously speaking back in the 60's and maybe around the 70's Ghana had or maybe Accra had so many beautiful men and women the southern quarter. Have no clue what happened, but I won't speculate either.

Now the Lady got a pass, you all can say shit, but you can't do shit about it. Yes if she hits the gym, she could be Ghana's Barbie MP. I always tell me best female friends that, that Banku, Fufu and all the nasty shit will catch up with you one day, and there will be no turning back. Well, some people have it and others don't have it that is why I sitting in this internet cafe with some Nigerians friends shouting over my head I can hardly think wtraight.

First of all, he sounds like Chris Brown. He cannot seem to communicate without using foul, nasty and detestable language. This kind of terminal immaturity is symptomatic of people who either have had bad and unfortunate parental upbringing or people who were brought up in poverty endemic ghetto communities and therefore do not know any better because no one cared enough to show them what is proper.

No! this kind of linguistic misconduct can definitely not be excused on grounds of current trends as if current trends dictate that we must all lower our moral predisposition to life and try and be as stupid as possible.

Consequently, it is also not too difficult to understand why this Citizen One chap is so obsessed and obtuse about good and ugly looks. What are his criteria for judging what looks good or bad? I wish people would not be so petty when publicly expressing their views on national affairs.

Victoria has been in student politics while in school, and contested the 2012 election so what is wrong with her appointment? Did jm said he appointed her because of her looks? Gender discrimination at it's best, and surprisingly women are also part of the bashing I am not the least surprise as women are our own enemies. Victoria has a cv and those interested should contact her or the appropriate quarters to access and examine it. I am really ashamed of most comments. I now understand! I can now understand, from this submission, why Victoria Lakshmi Hammah, has been penciled as the deputy minister-designate for communications. The submission says: "Yes, she has the kind of looks that should spice up an otherwise dull state institution." No wonder in the first www.ghanaweb.com news that show-cased (presented) her, she BOTH her breasts EXPOSED to the whole world - may be as a spice to incite dull readers.

Folks, for heavens' sake, the country is plagued with numerous and varied, seemingly insurmountable problems by the government in power (although the problems are soluble), here we are with a deputy-minister designate being presented and show-cased on the basis of her "perceived" beauty, AND NOT her intellect and ability to help solve problems of the nation and the ministry she is designated for.

Folks, I understand she finished University of Ghana. Accepted! What program did she graduate from? Does her background (NOT her exposed breast and face/anatomical structure) qualify her for the job? These are the attributes that I would be interested in, but NOT the traits that qualified her to be a beauty pageant. NO wonder another beauty pageant, aside her, has also been rewarded with a ministerial appointment.

Are our politicians determined and committed to solving the nation's numerous and varied problems at all? I have my doubts. They better be careful, for their actions seem to be justifying the inevitable and the avoidable. God be our helper!
