Massive "monetization" of elections was started by NPP in 2004 & 2008 where power went to the highest bidder including their infamous primaries in 2006 to elect Nana. I'll only consider NPP on other issues. If it's about corruption, I'd vote for the NDC again and again and again.

Our journalists have fallen so low that they can hardly write a plausible report.

While not disputing whether or not the trees were really planted or not, I will like to know why the reporter claims 6.60 cedis per tree planted is a rather high cost. What kind of tree are we talking about? How much is a worker paid for planting a tree? What of the logistics that go into the whole process? It's nice to churn out huge sums to level accusations, but we must learn to bring out the details as well for the public to make their own analysis. Else our journalists should pack and go home, for, we are gettting fed up with these childish reporting.

If things are not going well in Ghana today, it is not because Mahama is President, but rather because you and I, our brothers and sisters, our friends and parents are corrupt, lazy or unproductive. Until most of us change our attitudes, not even the Pope will lead this nation to success.

It is time we turned the searchlight on ourselves and asked what our contributions to national development, the eradication of corruption, etc., are. If we stopped brin¡bing our ways to secure jobs, contracts and positions; if we stopped dodging work to enable us do our private chores; if we stopped bribing public officials in order to give us permits for our building projects, etc., then we can really see the change we want.

With increased revenues from gold, cocoa and now oil, their campaign machinery was awash with serious cash, to get Mahama to be the President at all cost. And even with that, Ghanaians voted against him, leading to the fraud that was perpetrated on Ghanaians by the EC in connivance with the NDC gov't. It's not surprising that, there's no money/funds for anything in the country, with the result that, everything is moving backwards; the price of the e de bee keke nonsense.

Corruption galore is order of day. monies meant for the proper development of the poor people, is looted by the custodians in collaboration with old dwarfs and babies with sharp teeth. Monies syphoned abroad, they will school their kids abroad, buy homes abroad and bath in the affluence of waste , Then quickly re invent themselves as champions of the poor. New humanitarians using loose change of the same stolen money to mask their sins with the hypocritical open display of devotion to God whilst continuing the sin of draining her dignity and rendering her more trapped in poverty and this vicious cycle of the state of prostitution. Syphoning looted funds outside the country with no meaningful investment plough back to help creat jobs to support the economy .
This is beyond criminal. it is a sin. Today the drivers of our civility, (civil servants, doctors, teachers, etc..) Are on strike . Money meant for their purpose is siting in the private accounts of individuals in fine clothes portraying God image and reminding you of your shortfall to prayer . It's your money. Looted by these old dwarfs and babies with sharp teeth. After 50years of independence it is sad to note that our only development indicator is the measure of the number of westerners amongst us.
