  This Reverend is so ignorant that he does not realize that his plea is self-distructive. Are "corruption and other negative practices" not what churches are made of? Are they not the foundation blocks of Christianity itself ...

  This Reverend is so ignorant that he does not realize that his plea is self-distructive. Are "corruption and other negative practices" not what churches are made of? Are they not the foundation blocks of Christianity itself? Add women-hating, adultery, fornication, sodomy, old men having sex with their daugters and servant girls. It's all in the Ananse Story Book which Europeans call the Bible.
  
  In the Western civilized countries, the church no longe holds any significance in peoples' lives. Churches are getting emptier and emptier every year. Only very old people go for Sunday services. With declining tithes and Sunday collections, churches are short on cash and are, therefore, selling off, or converting church properties into rental apartments and other commercial applications.
  
  The old Christian message is old and useless. Unfortunately, there is no suitable new message. Just like churches everywhere, Ghanaian churches are struggling to re-invent themselves. How are they doing that? They are trying to poke their noses into the secular domain, making social and political common-sense generalizations about national development, etc.
  
  Why should we allow Reverends, the embodiments of simony, deceipt, greed, avarice, adultery, disharmony, women-hating, slavery, torture and sinfulness tell us to correct "the wrongs and injustices" in our society when their own existence depends on those same vices?
