One thing is true though and that is, Mills started this pilgrimage of Christians going to Israel. Mills sent some charismatic self annointed Priests to Israel on the taxpayers back to go and pray for him during his presidency though on a small scale unlike the 200 MAHAMA wants to send.

Anyway, why is this opportunity of going to Israel given to only Priests? This fake man of God is comparing this pilgrimage to Moslems but the government don't sponsor or facilitate the Moslems pilgrimage for only the Imams or the Moslems clergy alone.

The true fact is that, MAHAMA wants to reward the Ndc supported Clergy to take a vacation as Pastor Benny Wood intimated in this forum but to cloud it as such, the invitation was extended to the Priests of our tradional churches.

Any man of God worth his cassock will not be asking the government to send him or her to Israel for a pilgrimage when some people have been flooded out of their homes in the North and NADMO cannot help them because it has no money and instead of this Priest telling the government to send the $600,000 to help the homeless in the North, he is telling us that it is a worthwhile endeavour. What are they going to Israel to do that they cannot do here in Ghana? I did not know God has deserted Ghana and moved to Israel.

As a Christian believer in Messiah Jesus, I DO TAKE THE BIBLE in its TOTALITY as the UNCORRUPTED WORD OF GOD, and having read the Bible from A-Z,I stand by my arguments that Christians, particularly Gentile Christians, must support Israel, because together with the Jew, in times to come, Israel will be all of our inheritance.. If one cannot see this, then I don't know what you believe in, and I am not at liberty to question it.

Just know that the government has had a HISTORY of supporting Ghanaian Muslims in one form or another to attend Mecca whether it is mandated or not is really not my concern here.

Similarly, I cannot frown on Christian leaders asking for the same type of help, mandated or not- what I ask from them is to come out BODLY and be TRANSPARENT and NOT allow an otherwise innocent Man in the form Mahama to be HUNG DRY by the politically poisonous media and left holding a bag of embracement whereas he was advocating for their good!

Had all the facts been made available to us all in the media in GOOD FAITH, I would not have been against this pilgrimage in the first place...

The poor will always be with us, and truth be told, for Ghana to move forward, it will take more than just government to wipe out poverty; it will take the collective citizenry to make a revolutionary change of heart not to steal, and rape Ghana with impunity!

Once again, I do support a pilgrimage of Christian leaders to Israel, and if the government can afford them the help made avail to Muslims, then hooray to Ghana building a fair and just society!

I don't think pastors would only have to go to Jerusalem and pray before would hear them. It is the human that forms the temple of God, therefore no credence is given to location as far as prayer is concerned. The aim of the pilgrimage is to plead for spiritual back-up inorder to enhance development in the country. If the prayer really matters about Ghana; should it be done outside the country. I think when the clergy are governmentally supported to hold a national crusade in the aim of seeking development. Then I think we are getting somewhere, instead of going to spend gargantuam amounts on them in Jerusalem. Though, the nation seek divination, there should also be some sense of rationality; since the large sums estimated to be spent on them can be used for something more profitable all geared towards development.

That is why He used to break the message down to them when He was with them alone. Without God opening your spiritual mind, your will blindly follow the multitude who interpret it literally without seeking the spiritual meaning. You may ask yourself why is it that 10 Priest will preach differently on the same given topic or stance in the Bible? Because they don't follow the Biblical rules - by comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Anyway, the Christian pilgrimage to Israel is of no spiritual value and majority of the Jews still believe not in Christ and do not have anything to do with the New Testament and are expecting the Messiah to come some day and not Christ return.
