  While on some mission in Ghana in 2012, I mentioed this to some workers of the Ministry of Health but was very surprised to have heard statements like: "In Ghana, this [pirated software] is what we use. If you want to arrest people for using that, you can arrest our President first because with all certainty he uses pirated software".
  
  Oalahi: They think that Ghana is at the end of the world so nobody can detect them using such software.

  Since I became aware, I use ONLY Open Source applications. For instance the Open Office3.3 (Calc,Writer,Impression,Spreadsheet etc)is much better than any Office product, yet costs nothing, just the need to download and install it. It has embedded PDF converter, that allows users to convert everything into PDF, without a second party tool.

  I have been programming VBA (among others) since Windows started on 286 processors ie Windows 1.0.
  
  Windows is NOT OPEN source, but any KID can destroy your entire system, using a three-liner .BAT commands or using WHS code. Likewise, all M$ Offices (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, ..) products support MACROS, ACTIVEX and WHS. I hope you understand what I'm talking about! I only need to mail you a *.doc stuff and I know your entire history!
  
  In any case, I don't need to discuss with an entity whose level of computer literacy does not match my pre-primary school education.

Now, think about it, does the software platform have anything to do about an intruder on your system? Think really hard about it before you make yourself look even more foolish. But maybe I have to come down to your level to understand your narrow scope.
