This is tragic. A society that does not care for its children, the weak and the aged is not worth dying for.
God, how disheartening to hear such news in Ghana. MP's keep getting fat paychecks & these poor mothers & babies dying bcos of poor healthcare system. Something is really wrong with this picture.
This figure does not include children in remote villages where births are not recorded. We are still very backward with priority list upside-down. We are still living in the 12th century; still very primitive.
IF PEOPLE LIKE THIS DIE IN TWO YEARS
Our biggest problem is our order of priorities. We have no value for education and health so our national priorities are expensive funerals, chieftancy matters, celebrations and festivals. We are retrogressing all the time.

The government should take care of the babies? They should tell us what causes the death of the babies and then the government can intervene.
THIS IS PATHETIC BECAUSE IF THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING IN URBAN ACCRA ONE WONDERS WHAT THE FIGURES WOULD BE LIKE NATIONWIDE?

WAA-LOOK 3,044 NEONATAL DEATHS IN GT. ACCRA ONLY WITHIN 12MONTHS. THIS EVEN MIGHT NOT INCLUDE THOSE THAT OCCURRED IN THE HOMES.
3,000 human babies die? This figure is heart-breaking. how would pregnant women feel when going to the hospitals.

Did you hear the woman? Among the causes was doctors inability to speedily treat the referred children. And they want to go on strike after killing the women and children.These doctors will be punished by God before they die.
