This should serve as a reminder to the average Ghanaian who had either not lived and or worked outside the shores of Ghana that they are being bamboozled to acquiesce to the dual citizenship crap.
Yes Dr. Vaderpuye and Dr. Duffour carry US citizenships and thus may have known the handy work of the U.S. vendor they presumably entered into some agreement for drainage work in Accra. What these two have also shown us is how the love of money, selfishness and greed almost always drive most who have lived in the Diaspora. These two wanted to engage in fraud by obtaining enough details from the U.S. vendor only to pass on those needed information to another company the two can manipulate and extract maximum kick backs should they succeed in signing a contract for such work with their preferred company later.
If these two were ever to lose their jobs as a result of them being caught now or later when their preferred vendor have been offered a contract they certainly have the ultimate luxury of running back to the U.S. under their US citizenship. Where then is their loyalty? This is the built in incentive that drives all the clowns who advocate the Ghanaian dual citizenship bull dongle. They have not shown any benefit to Ghana but what is in the selfish interest of people who chose to renounce their Ghanaian citizenship to become citizens of other countries. Are we supposed to accept the premise that Ghana stand to lose some amount of intellectual brains if this dual citizenship is not granted? Was it the government of Ghana which pursued these and other clowns? It is those in the Diaspora who return to seek lucrative positions with government. In their own proclamations, supply and demand, they should be glad to have been considered for government jobs and not engage in this folly that Ghana needs them. The acceptance of this implies that Ghana’s own home grown educated bunch are intellectually inferior in need of adequately trained and educated ex-Ghanaians with superior intellect from the Diaspora. Such a proposition can only come from people who are yet to understand that every nation sells what is in its interest. Ghana ought to stand up for itself.

The practice of conning firms or individual out of intellectual property and giving it to others who would pay bribes should condemned by all. Dual citizenship is a distraction. Why not terminate the transaction with one party before engaging another? There are rules that govern proposals depending on whether they are solicited or unsolicited, etc. Reserve the venom for the perpetrators of criminality ,not for dual citizens or fellow Ghanaians in the diaspora.

Ghanaian officials are dishonest when dealing with companies, especially when those companies cannot be coerced into giving bribes. I am not a lawyer but I believe such a case can be won even by a baboon "with confidence".
