Do you know the people of Amoako have to pay for the ground water they drink? Maybe some of the increment you personally received could have given them a free water well without hitting your pocket. Do you know the number of truant children I have to take to school with convincing messages and the duly help I can? Do you know in your own village, people still shit on the (wheetem)? I child fell in the other time and died. Perhaps if you politicians had a heart you would have given back to the people what they invested in you. You think your intelligence, your education and your wellbeing now is by your hard work and your family support alone? The environment and the society contributed the most.

All you politicians could cheat steal, embezzle and in so doing become as rich as ever, but you are just as poor as the environment around you which you have left in tartars. Do you think it’s OK to increase your salaries threefold and over and back date this even still? At the neglect of public infrastructure and even with the coffers the nation doesn’t have but to beg and borrow loans to pay this increment. The fact that the public cannot do anything about it to stop it does not take them for fools. However, we are fools not to have any checks and balances to bring you monsters to accountability.

You described politicians very well as toilet carriers except you forgot one aspect. The later are by far better than you, for they contribute to the society’s wellbeing, cleanliness and hygiene whilst politicians join in to shit and steal the payments due to clean up their mess. So please resist and desist from comparing yourselves to the toilet carriers, the nation’s health can never be adequate enough without them. Don’t laugh at them at all, God looks down at their contributions to the society and he smiles at them. But for you and your counterparts, your graves and coffins would be hotter more inside than hell itself.

In any Developed Country, there is nothing like ex-gratis being paid to MPs. Why after all they received their monthly salaries. If then what and why the hell a country that depends on foreign aid to support their yearly Budgets paying such large sums of money to its MPs. The most shameful thing is that even continuing MPs are are still being paid these monies why? It does it means that after serving four mores years in Parliament, these MPs will shamefully accept more such awful payments. If Ken Agyapong has the interest of Ghana at heart he will rather have suggested to all his Parliamentary colleagues they should forgo all these payments. This large sums of money could have being used to defray some of the arrears owed to the Professional strikers in the country.

In reality and until Ghana Governments who are put into power by the people face the real situation in proper governance nothing will ever change. How does a Government give 2 Cars, Cooks, Garden Boys, Free Petrol and Bungalows to its MPs and Cabinets members in this 21st Century after the country's 56 years of independence? How does the MPs and Cabinets Members does not feel ashamed and bow their heads in shame is beyond humanity comprehension. The reason being that it is this very poor people who elected these MPs into Parliament. In a nutshell these so called Parliamentarian and Cabinet Members are just plain greedy and very watom in their actions.

Can Ken Agyapong tell the whole world what improvements he has brought into his constituency since he has been there as MP? Did Agyapong not witness recently Honourable Gill Gates visit to Ghana on his pet project of helping the worlds poor? This is a man to be honoured as he really deserved that accolade. This man has never being on radio claiming to be rich and abuse people as Ken Agyapong has done so many times on a radio station he said to own.

Just look at that awful situation in Ghana with Professionals who are more qualified to be in parliament than many current MPs. Yet in making a legitimate demand for monies owed them they are rather being abused. It is really a sad situation. Perhaps , to put this in perceptive there is a clear mismanagement going in Ghana.
The simple question is, what is Mhahama as President saying to the striking people? Does he want the world to know the MPs are important than those people who makes things happen in the country?

Personally, such ex-gratis payments are unnecessary waste of Government funds to do better things in Ghana and it must be stopped.
