A truck driver was driving along on the freeway. A sign comes up that reads, "LOW BRIDGE AHEAD". Before he knows it the bridge is right ahead of him and he gets stuck under the bridge. Cars are backed up for miles.

Finally, a police car comes up. The cop gets out of his car and walks around to the truck driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, "Got your truck stuck, huh?"
The truck driver says, "No, I was delivering this bridge and ran out of gas."

As most of the comments highlighted, the army should be in the position to execute such project.What at all is happening in the country?Again, until we stop politicizing issues of national interest, these are what we would go through having bunch of people who claim to have been in the formal education system.If simple projects of such nature could not be implemented to meet time, cost, and quality then I am afraid.

At the initial state when woods were used for the bridge, some people agitated against it and nothing was done . Now that its killing people, they want to do something about it. I hope dis time its done well!

Incredible ! Give the work to the Chinese and it will be completed. Breaking down a bridge and not have materials to build a new one shows that Ghanians are not intelligent.

We are not intelligent and yet we think we know it all. We bash one another in public instead of coming together to solve problems and hold these public officials accountable for their stupidity. Tribal insults await you if you dare attack the government for its incompetence. Some people will support the government even if it empties the national treasury and they themselves do not benefit from it. I am still struggling to understand how we became like this.
