This so-called expect should first ask himself what brought about the strike before he accuses the TUC. This is a nation that do not care about the masses and what happens to them. No organization will just wake up and say they are going on strike. There is something behind and that is the irresponsible of handling of the SSS. The government gives sugar coated words about implementing it and yet refuses to do so while they are paying themselves hugh sums of money. They also deserve their due and not until they are given their due, all these agitations and strikes will continue. Time will tell.

The TUC and the Students leadership are secretly hand picked by their political masters, hugely influenced by the national security operatives with most of them on the government pay roll.

It's a shame the TUC is so quiet in the face of strikes upon strikes by Teachers, Nurses and other working groups fighting for their rights whilst the criminal politicians shamelessly steal to share the national covers with impunity in a despicable guinea fowl project and afforestation in Savannah North in Ghana's dry season not to talk about youth unemployments and workers deplorable conditions.

Mr senyo seems to see the leadership of the TUC to have absolute power to act absolutely.The power of the TUC is in the hands of the rank and file membership and no TUC leader would want to lose his or her position either in a "vote of no confidence" or in the next congress. As to how political a particular leader is, is neither here nor there because the entire TUC leadership is sharply divided on partisan lines.As a matter of fact TUC candidates are normally identified on party lines and campained for during elections at congresses.We are looking forward to the day when the TUC would attain a neutral status and be able to so act.
