Instead of being honest with the people, so that he could get an extended leave to go and take care of himself, he and the NDC propaganda machinery kept on appearances and lies to mislead a worried nation and prying eyes.

All for what? That if he disclosed fully what was ailing him, he wouldn't get re-elected? Despite his "meek" outlook, Agya Atta Mess was power drunk. He has to lie every single time he has to come to the USA to see his doctors, placing the excuse on coming to see some shadowy investors. In the end he died as a result of the deceit he was concocting on the masses. Ghana is still there, the sky did not fall, and he is six feet under.

Mills used to be my lecturer at Legon in the early ‘80s; who doesn't know he was a chain smoker then? His past just caught up with him, it is as simple as that. Enough of the nonsense that somebody killed him. He purchased and consumed by his own volition, the thing that killed him - throat cancer - which was set on by many years of smoking like a chimney. His smoking pal, Afari Gyan will be next. They thought it was hip to be a chain smoker which left its marks on their finger nails and mouths. Stop looking for someone to blame. Atta Mess aided and abetted in his own death.

John Atta Mill was only 68 but he was not a healthy (fit) man. He battled diabetes all his life. In his final years he was overworked and not well taken care of. Similar thing happened after the death of PLO President Arrafat when the family suspected foul play, the paid huge amount to specialistst to exhume Arrafat's body to be re-examined to find the cause of his death; and I don't think the family has that money to go that far

I totally disagree with you on this issue. I truly believe that Agya was killed for political expediency. Why has the NDC government failed to make his post mortem report public? The NDC knew that, Agya Atta's frail body language could not win them election 2012, and he will not die prior to the election, and as such, he had to be eliminated on time, to get his arch enemy ambitious leautenant take over. This was a calculated opportunity for the NDC,and they may have done it, because the public knew that, Agya Atta was sick, and will buy into that. As for this, I will support the Ekumfi Abusuapanin of Otuam, to invoke the spirit of Otuam, to do the hunting for Agya Atta's killers, eventhough he was suffering from 'cancer malitis'. All the same, "THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH". For Uncle Atta to take the country from a development course to a downward economic and political doom, Uncle Agya Atta's death may be deserving, yet his ghost should go after his killers.

There was this guy. He often went away on trips, far from home, Long trips. While this man was away on his trips, his wife would get very very dissatisfied. Thus, she cheated on him, but when he came back, she felt guilty, so she always told him. Well, after a while, the man got very frustrated with his wife's adultry, so he went to an adult toy shop. He looked around, but saw nothing special.
The man knew he needed something special, so he decided to tell the salesclerk. "I need something really amazing for my wife. All I see here are normal toys."

"Well, there is the voodoo dick, but I don't want to sell you THAT." replied the clerk.

"Let me see it anyway!" Answered the man.

The salesclerk took him into a room and pulled out a box. He opened the box, and inside was something that looked like a normal toy.

"That's not special!" cried the man.

"Ah, but look. Voodoo dick, THE DOOR." The dick in the box got up and began to hump the door.

"I'll take that, but how do you get it to stop?"

The salesclerk sold him the voodoo dick, then, said simply "Voodoo dick? The box."

So the man took voodoo dick back home to his wife and showed her how to get it to hump something. Then, he left for a trip.

The wife waited and waited and waited, but she couldn't stand her urges. She took out the voodoo dick and said "voodoo dick? My-" well, we know what she said. So, it was the best she had ever known, and she kept at it for about 3 hours. Then, she wanted it out. She pulled and pulled, but in vain, for her husband had forgotten to tell her about the little box trick. Finally, she decided to go to the hospital to get it out. She drove kind of wacky, well, because there was something in her. Finally, a police man pulled her over for her driving.

"But..." She told the police man of the voodoo dick, to get out of the ticket.

He laughed at her foolish story. "Voodoo dick my ass!" he cried
