At last, we are now witnessing the true size of the self-proclaimed "Almighty" Afari-Djan.

Propped up by the NDC to try another delay tactic, the corrupt Afari Djan-led EC tried again to put some spikes in the wheels of justice,but alas the noble men of integrity at the Supreme Court will never want to be part of it.

So the stage is now set for the "mother of all trials" between 'any idiot can go to court' and the 'super idiots who applied to join the suit'.

Thank God there are no more Kpegahs on the Supreme Court panel !

Intelligence picked up by the Daily Post indicates that the driving force behind the many labour agitations and strikes that has plagued the country in recent times is the huge sums of money that the opposition NPP has doled out to people in the leadership of the various labour groups to get them lead labour agitations against the government and make President John Mahama look incompetent in the eyes of the public.

Last week saw teachers in the country ending days of strike actions undermining the country’s educational system as students were then just set to write their BECE examination. Even before the dust would settle on that strike action, the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) also embarked on strike together with pharmacists, effectively crippling the various government hospitals across the country.

To worsen matters, the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) and the Judiciary Service Workers have indicated their resolve to embark on strike action unless their demands are met by government.

As spelt out, the main aim of these strikes is to stir up sentiments against the Mahama administration and portray the president as incompetent and wicked. For instance, patients who go to hospital only to realize that doctors are on strike because government has not given them money they are demanding will naturally be angry with the government whether the demands of the doctors are justified or not.

An NPP source in the top echelon of the party confirmed to this paper that some in the leadership of the striking doctors, pharmacists and teachers have been given huge sums of money ranging from GHS 30,000 to GHS65,000 per person and tasked to ensure that they take an uncompromising stand when negotiating with government with the ultimate aim of ensuring the negotiation collapse and workers resorting to strike actions.

According to the insider, the plan has not been difficult to execute because the NPP, over the years, ensured that its supporters, members and sympathizers get elected into the leadership positions of the various identifiable labour group.

Per the plan, as soon as government manages to talk one labour group out of their strike action, another will embark on one with others waiting to have their turn. With these series of strikes, even the most ardent supporter of the President will be forced to come to the conclusion that he is not fit for the job.

Embittered at the rejection of Nana Akufo-Addo at the polls last December, members of his inner cabal, popularly called the Kyebi Mafia, according to the source are ready to sink millions of Ghana cedis into their invidious plan to make sure it succeeds so that ultimately, President Mahama will be removed from power by any means possible.

The latest edition of the Africanwatch magazine quotes a cousin of Nana Akufo-Addo, in an email to a friend in New York, U.S.A talked about activating the “back burner” strategy of getting the outside world to listen to their grievances.

He writes; “The truth is the country is not showing enough anger…isn’t it a serious indictment that we have not been able to mobilize thousands of people onto the streets? Are we not going to feed on the current anger?”

At the second of the William Ofori-Atta (Paa Willie) Institute for Integrity lectures at the British Council Hall on March 12, 2013, Ken Ofori-Atta, the Chairman of Databank Group, a cousin to Nana Akufo-Addo and a key member of the Kyebi Mafia virtually called for civil disobedience in the country regardless of its implication on national security and stability. Expressing dismay that the “the country is ominously quiet,” he lamented that Ghanaians do not want to “rock the boat” and virtually called for the kind of militancy that led to the violent overthrow of the SMC government in 1979.

With millions of Ghana cedis devoted to this “project” and with man’s insatiable needs and greed, it will take much more for the Mahama Administration to bring to an end the numerous labour agitations.

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

One of the letters was dully signed by a certain E. Bart-Plange Brew, Acting Administrative Secretary on behalf of Secretary to General Legal Council.

The other letter from “The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple” in the United Kingdom (UK) was only signed by an officer who only provided a signature and designation as Under Treasurer – Middle Temple, but failed to give his or her name despite having said that Mr. Akufo-Addo was “specially admitted” to Middle Temple on January 13, 1969 and passed July 22, 1971after passing the English Bar Examination.

Mr. Akufo-Addo’s supposed letter from the Middle Temple looked fictitious as it has no identification in terms of the society’s crest, logo or any identifiable emblem. Indeed, the letter looks forged.

A visit to the website of Middle Temple (www.middletemple.org.uk) reveals the society’s crest to be an oval-shaped crest with a knight of the Templar’s Red Cross with brown borders. It also has a white sheep that is leaning on a flagstaff ending in a cross at the top.

The Herald discovered that the officer in-charge of the Middle Temple society presently to be Master Treasurer, Christopher Symons QC and has his deputy to be Under Treasurer, Catherine Quinn. Strangely none of the two personalities appended his or her signature to the 2007 letter, authenticating it as coming from the Middle Temple.

The Enquirer newspaper on Tuesday reported that documents submitted to the court on behalf of Nana Akufo-Addo in his response to a writ challenging his qualification as a lawyer, indicated that the former Attorney General’s law certificate was missing.

However, speaking on Eyewitness News on Tuesday, Frank Davis dismissed the reports saying: “so in this world, nobody can lose anything? If you lose your passport…does that mean that you never owned any passport? I can’t understand what all this is about.”

Mr. Davis further questioned: “So nobody can lose anything of yours in this world? So if the man has lost or his certificate is missing and he has written to the General Legal Council and the General Legal Council has confirmed that indeed he was enrolled and called to the Ghana Bar at a meeting of the General Legal Council on Tuesday, 8th July, 1975, what again is being done about it that his certificate is missing?”

The credibility of Mr. Akufo-Addo as a Lawyer has been questioned by former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Francis Kpegah, who has since challenged him with a suit in court.

If the outcome of the EC's plea to the supreme court had gone the other way, it would have been too obvious that the vedrict overall, was going to go in a certain direction. The supreme court should as a matter of law and national interest oprder the EC and infact the NDC and Mahama to also file their evidence NOW.

There's no escape route for him, the NDC and the EC! I've said it time and again that their evil plot to steal the ballot will be exposed. I've been vindicated! "Biribia-ara aye basaaa" in EC & NDC's camp! They can run but cannot hide.

Mr. Safo Kantanka, EC's deputy boss has also resigned today and that's an indication of things to come. Mahama however doesn't seem to get the clue here. He should also resign to avoid being disgraced.

It's now clear, by the Petitioner's document that the EC & NDC colluded to steal the ballot. They're trying to look friendly and good in the sight of Ghanaians, but the damage has been done. There nothing they can do to convince Ghanaians and the rest of the world to believe or sympthise with them. The end is drawing nigh.

I Think the Supreme Court must from now on act as an institution in the election petition and not as a partisan organization.As in the start of the case we were told that election petition is supposed to be challenged by a citizen of Ghana and not a political party.What did we see?Finally the NDC as a party was made to join.
You remember the case of Jake,Okudzeto and Omani,when the court ruled in the above case.This same abusive propaganda none performing NDC Adminisration issued a white paper and termed the case as a morale issue and when the then Ata Mills information minister by name Chris Baffo was interview on air he banged the phone.
When the indemnity clauses were smuggled into the constitution by that same NDC and told us that not till there is a referendum those obnoxious paragraphs could not be removed
Please Supreme court let me tell you as an institution that, this present constitution does not need to be review by THAT same NDC who drafted it when the incorruptible and honorable NPP Party was writing the Stolen Verdict. The constitution must be revoked.
Now am pleading with you as Angels of God (Members of the supreme court)Let the truth be told this time so that this abusive incompetent propaganda government must stop their buffoonery.

We need to know the basis of the court's decision as it appears unfair to ask one party to nominate its witnesses when the other party has not fully provided its evidence in chief (infact they are still hiding a major part of the so called evidence and hoping to drop it as a bomb shell at court).
However, if the court only expects the parties to file the numbers and nature of persons to be called in as witnesses and will also be flexible to allow changes in the affidavit once the case starts then it may not be that unfair

For your information, the petitioners were also given 5 days from 2nd April to 7th. to file their affidavit, for which they complied.

The only problem for the ndc is tha they still hang on to the belief that once sworn in no one can dislodge their govt. well read the constitution.

If it was fair for Dr. Afari to overlook the concerns of the players, then, it is equally fair for him to satisfy the demands of SC within the stipulated days. By the way, what have they been doing? Or they thought Nana and Co. ware just playing. This is real business.

What you ask is what you get. Even the Bible says "Ask and it shall be given to you." Dr. Afari asked for court and now he has court, so what is the big deal. I don't think anyone should defend him in anyway. Let him go and answer what he knows about the charges.
