Early life and education

Nana Akufo-Addo was raised in Ga Maami (Accra Central) and in the Nima area of Accra. His father's residence, Betty House at Korle Wokon in Accra, was effectively the headquarters of the country's first political party, the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC), after it was formed at Saltpond on 4 August 1947. Three of the "Big Six"—the founding fathers of Ghana—were his relatives; J. B. Danquah (grand uncle), William Ofori Atta (uncle) and Edward Akufo-Addo, who became the third Chief Justice of Ghana and later ceremonial President of the Republic from 1969 to 1972, was his father.

Akufo-Addo received his primary education at the Government Boys School and later at the Rowe Road School (now Kimbu) both in Accra Central. He went to England to study for his O?Level and A?Level examinations. He returned to Ghana in 1962 to teach at the Accra Academy before going to the University of Ghana in 1964 to read economics. After graduating as an economist, he went on to read Law in the UK [the degree awarding institution however remains unknown and is the basis for a legal suit for impersonation of a William Akufo Addo in the Ghanaian courts. He was allegedly called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in July 1971 and then the Ghana Bar in 1975.

It is therefore easy to understand the strange and bizarre attitude of these Anlo-ewes. They only know evil, 419 and tyranny of Agorkoli.

But before they came, the tribal kingdoms of Ghana had become content with itself after excruciating barbarism and cruelty they had experienced under the slave trade, imperialism and colonialism with its antecedent inter tribal wars.

These people started with their baseless accusation with drugs, marijuana, cocaine etc without proving anything. If what Kpegah alleges is true, how come this man has not been arrested for impersonating or being in a position like Attorney General on a false premise? Forgery is a crime punishable with a prison term and why is Nana walking all these years without being arrested?

It is therefore amazing that someone as arrogant as AA, who even to this day persist in slanging when he speaks english(perhaps to prove that he was educated in the UK), to then turn around and say he cannot produce a copy of his certificates when asked. What about the ones on his office wall? oh sorry he does not have that either... Moreso this story about his non-qualification to be a lawyer has been going on for ages and the prudent thing for a lawyer, especially one running for president, would have been to have a requested a copy by now unless he genuinely does not have one...

Nana Akufo-Addo was raised in Ga Maami (Accra Central) and in the Nima area of Accra. His father's residence, Betty House at Korle Wokon in Accra, was effectively the headquarters of the country's first political party, the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC), after it was formed at Saltpond on 4 August 1947. Three of the "Big Six"—the founding fathers of Ghana—were his relatives; J. B. Danquah (grand uncle), William Ofori Atta (uncle) and Edward Akufo-Addo, who became the third Chief Justice of Ghana and later ceremonial President of the Republic from 1969 to 1972, was his father.

Akufo-Addo received his primary education at the Government Boys School and later at the Rowe Road School (now Kimbu) both in Accra Central. He went to England to study for his O?Level and A?Level examinations. He returned to Ghana in 1962 to teach at the Accra Academy before going to the University of Ghana in 1964 to read economics. After graduating as an economist, he went on to read Law in the UK [the degree awarding institution however remains unknown and is the basis for a legal suit for impersonation of a William Akufo Addo in the Ghanaian courts. He was allegedly called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in July 1971 and then the Ghana Bar

Impersonation is nothing new in the world. Some go on for short periods others longer. People have impersonated doctors and carried out surgeries in our hospitals.
The vice president was challenged recently of not having a Masters degree. He went later to pick his certificate to prove he had it.
Nana has allegedly lost his. The courts will have to decide whether he has ever been awarded those certifictes or not.
