  The GSS must continue to produce reliable and up-to-date statistics in a timely manner, and disseminate it for monitoring economic performance, effective planning and for public consumption.
  
  The upwards revision of GDP growth rates in 2011 and 2012 is welcome. Ghana continues to be one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.
  
  We must ensure that we derive the maximum benefit from this economic growth for the benefit of all our people.
