When was the last time this all important bridge rehabilitated? We should have long ago had a second and a more modern one there. Our governments just lack foresight. This is not the fault of Mahama

Your are wright. Haven't we been collecting toll on that bridge for decades? What happened to all that revenue? It could have been use to build a new one. Our leaders lack foresight indeed.

The Toll Collectors have their own printed tickets which looks the same as government printed ones. If they issue two from the government roll, they issue eight from their own rolls. Also, our MPs and other high ranking polit ...

The Toll Collectors have their own printed tickets which looks the same as government printed ones. If they issue two from the government roll, they issue eight from their own rolls. Also, our MPs and other high ranking politicians do not pay when they use the bridge. The same happens at the Motorway, Lorry Parks etc.

They (the politicians) who were to make sure the malpractice you talked about are curtailed or eliminated, go through the toll booth free so how are they going to notice there is a fake ticket being sold?

Selfishness and exploitation of the nation for selfish gain is what has kept this nation down from the days of independence and we will never go anywhere until we begin to think about one another's well being.

We often confuse Kpone with Kpong even in officialdom.The former is in the Greater Accra Region while the later is in the Eastern Region nearer the Adomi bridge than the former.In the past Kpone was known as Kpone-On-Sea so as to differentiate it from Kpong which also in the past is known among the ewes there as "Kome" and it used to be one of the towns of the Trans Volta Togoland.Some text books of the Methodist Schools at Kpong has school stamps to this effect.
