Their modus operandi, the pndc/ndc 1&2, is "give it a bad name and sell it cheaply to friends, cronies and frontmen or sell it for good money and pocket the proceeds. They are deliberately running TOR down to create the rationale for its divestiture. By 2001 the pndc and ndc 1&2 had divested 304 out of a total of 406 State Owned Enterprises but never accounted for the monies that accrued from the transactions.Watch out ! What's going to happen to TOR is predictable We've seen the movie many times before.

The government may be contemplating selling Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) in the same way other Kwame Nkrumah- established industries were sold. In this period where Ghana has discovered its crude oil, it will be politically and economically suicidal if government goes ahead to sell TOR. Future generation will have to buy it back, dearly, and curse those who sold it in the first place. Thus, if the Authorities have on their minds to buy shares in a privatised TOR - their main objective of the sale - they should think twice. They will be cursed and taken it back from them or from their families by future generation! Mark it!!
