A party that is not build on principles and an ideology always finds itself using fatuous propaganda, dirty lies and tricks to survive.

The Danquah/Dombo/Busia tradition being the second oldest political tradition in Africa(behind the ANC in South Africa)has survived dictatorship and tyrannic rules of all kinds,and lives on to fight for the very freedoms that true Ghanaians crave for.

It makes no sense to contest any election organized and supervised by the NDC's Afari Djan and his hard-core stealers.

Although the NPP has minimum chance to win the Kumbungu by-election, standing by its principles to boycott any election called by the NDC's Afari Djan is in the right direction.

One thing I lost my trust in Afari Djan was the Dzorwulu incident. I heard Obasanjo loud and clear on peacefm saying he talked to the manager of that outfit he said, they transfer documents for EC and some banks, then the PRO of EC came on air to deny followed by a breaking news on same peacefm that Afari Djan has issued a statement also denying it so my question, who is lying and who should we believe. I think I will believe Obasanjo the observer.

Secondly we should be very thankful to Nana Akufo Addo for going to court to seek justice in a peaceful way, for not taking up arms and hit the streets. It is his constitutional right to go to court. After this our democracy will be deepened.
The way we are going about things in Ghana I bet we are sitting on a time bomb which is going to explode one day in our face. Once we are for party A or B we see no wrong done on their side and that's wrong. In the recent US elections, a lady voted against her husband party for a comment one of his party members made. If it had been hers in Ghana I don't think the woman will have a husband as at now but they are still together happily. This is what we call democracy. Our democracy stinks like sh----t.

The NPP knows that it can NEVER win any elections in Kumbungu because since Independence Kumbungu has always been an anti- UP(NPP) constituency, just as the Yendi seat has always been pro UP(NPP).
I am a Dagomba and it is rather sad to say that elections in Dagbon is mostly an ABUDU and ADANI issue, and since the ABUDU's are pro NPP Kumbungu is a heavily a pro ANDANI town and as such they tend to vote NDC. (Ref 2012 elections...NDC..18.5K and NPP 8.3K).

So with a 10,000ppl deficit, how on earth can the NPP win in Kumbungu? Do the math.

The NPP would sound credible if they tell the world that they have weighed their chances and they know they CAN NOT win, thus their refusal to participate, so as to conserve some cash which is hard to come by these days ....lol

So can the NPP say that if GOD forbids the Suame seat or any of the Kumasi seats falls vacant they would refuse to contest ? Haba NPP please be a little credible with your deception. Ghanaians may have bought some of your lies for some time but I bet the whole Ghana may not be buying some of your lies all the time.
