Such blatant comments to destabilize the current government should be regarded as treason. I would urge the security apparatus to arrest these NPP surrogates. They are not independent minded. Why would any sensible or civilized patriot wish such a thing on a developing and hard trying country such as Ghana. I hate over 85% of everything that goes on in Ghana today and yesteryears, but the last thing I'd ever wish on such a Godforsaken place is more turmoil death and destruction of good life's. Rawlings ended the famine and scarcity of food experienced in the 80's. He skillfully brought in all learned brains to help make build the country, irrespective of tribe, or political inclination. Ask why Kuffour was once a Secretary of the PNDC.

Instead of relaxing and chopping the money some, like other coup makers did, he rebuilt the country, welcomed over 1 million deported Ghanaians from Nigeria, expanded electricity throughout every corner of Ghana, built polytechnics, and 2 Universities. People could now easily find food to buy and famine became a thing of the past.

For his works, he was voted for 2 twice by the people (9 regions endorsing & voting for him, apart from historical Ashanti region). After all said and done, he handed over to his bitter rivals and opponents. Who does that in Africa? He wasn't lucky. He earned his freedom and the people loved him.
