Release the students immediately
Police, don't keep them in jail. Just beat them up properly and let them go to nurse their bruises as Rawlings used to do to some of us. Hahahahahaha
What do you expect students to do when they have no lectures, project work ...

FRANK, YOU ARE A FOOL.AS AN OLD VANDAL, WE USED TO PERFORM OUR VANDALS DAY ACTIVITIES WITHOUT ANY POLICE INTERVENTION EVEN IN THE DAYS OF KUTU ACHEAMPONG
I am a Legonite (Gentleman) and sincerely do think that Vandalism in Commonwealth died a long time ago.
Grow up guys and appreciate the serenity of the vandal free era.
These kids have no classes and are just having fun. Leave them alone.
foolish dog.
let those jss boys release the students quick
The JSS boys will deal with you ruthlessly idiots
everyone knows anything called police is a criminal association
you are a son of a bitch
It's so obvious. Teachers are on strike and government can't afford any further acts that could lead to more agitation, so as usual, just use some heavy handed tactics to calm the students down.
they deserved beatings these illiterates students who do not read anything apart from recommended texts books. it serve them right. nobody will cry for them
Peace...you are a simple minded imbecile....
You are a fool
I hope someday Ghana Officials will treat urgent matters this way.
Why do our people know all laws and regulations concerning quite unnecessary issues, but fall short when we are endangered?
Floats have been organised regularly without incident and with Police protection. Does it not strike you that this sounds unusual and requires some questions answered before you try to rubbish the Police
Fact is, probably, that the police wanted FIVE DAYS notice? But would there have been "officers to monitor the float because of other pressing national assignments..."?
Is it not somehow strange, that the Police who suppose ...

Supporting their fathers for political power by giving the appearance an ungovernable Ghana!! Shessh!!
Float by university students have never given the impression of ungovernable Ghana. The government seems to be afraid of its own shadow. Floats are not demonstrations!
I salute the Police for this prompt intervention that thwarted the demonstration of the students. The students think they are the only ones who have been in school. Most of us writing here have been in school long before them ...

Ndc gave them Lap Tops. Now they are witnessing ndc true colour.

Can the police have enough personnel to arrest but not enough personnel to monitor the float." Come on- Ghana Police, don't be cheap".
I wonder why you always allow the NDC gov't to misuse you.
you sure demn right they can get 50 to go and make an arrest but not even 5 to monitor the float this is a damn shame
Excellent job done by the Ghana Police Service, the bible says it all in Hebrews 13-17,thank you

Ghanaians need protection before so-called foreign dignitaries. If you need more police, employ more. There is enough money in the system.
Well the police have lots of information at hand as to the intentions of the students.I bet you the police are ahead of the students as to their aim for the float.
Police , investigate and let the law takes it's course.
is the police saying that they have run out of staff or what.
According to the report, over 50 policemen were deployed to stop the float. I believe only 25 policemen could have monitored the float without incident.
GHANA IS A FOOLISH USELESS COUNTRY NOW.. ITS SEEMS THERE IS STILL MENTAL SLAVERY GOING ON THERE.. FUCK YA ALL..
... and join the Asad forces.
is ghana becoming a police state or what?
relax no Nana bullshit
HAVE THE POLISE BEEN PAID?
WELL DONE VANDALS ALUTA CONTINUA THE LECTURERS ARE NOT TEACHING. I ASSUME YOU ARE BORED?
IN 1979 WHEN WE WERE REAL STUDENTS WE FACED GENERALS.
Nkwaseafoo Mahama police. Koteboto foo. Better release them before Mahama goes cripple.
What's happening? Ghana is moving backwards. I can't believe that police brutalities on students in late 1970s and the 80s is back.
Shame!
OR TRAIN TO BE A DOCTOR
AND RETURN WHEN THE LECTURERS RETURN
