I am not surprised at all about 'Hopeson' Adorye's take on the failure by Alan Kyeremanteng to secure the WTO job. What he, like his party, do not appear to acknowledge is that Alan, like all the other candidates for the job, were in a competition and in any competition, there can only be one winner. On this occasion, Alan did not win and he should take it on the chin and move on. Maybe, this explains why NPP is in court challenging the outcome of the 2012 elections-they think they were ordained by God to win it.

I am a Ghanaian and would have been very proud to see a fellow Ghanaian elected/selected for a top job at the WTO, but if you listened to Alan K at the Q & A session you would be disappointed. He kept saying as a Lawyer and an Economist..etc etc blah blah blah.. My friends here were so disappointed in him because I made so much noise about Ghanaians, and he disappointed me badly. I then understood why he lost to Nana Akufo Addo.

Secondly, Africa presented 2 candidates instead of 1 and I bet you the Ugandan was even more impressive than Alan Cash.

The great one built a great Party, liberated the country, built factories, relevant institutions and infrastructure, Nationalised everything in order to create brand Ghana, and introduce it to the world trade arena.

If President Nkrumah's programs had not been interrupted and dismantled by those who came after him, the level of trade that Ghana would have been conducting would've been so high, that the world market would have readily recognized and endorsed a Ghanaian for the position as Director General of the World Trade Organization.

Do not blame President Mahama, the blame belongs to all of the traitors who in 1966, collaborated with imperialism, and dismantled that which they now seek to represent. Thank God the WTO is not Ghana where jobs are not offered on merit, but rather based on people's political affiliations. I pray to God that Alan will NOT attempt to come and stand as NPP flagbearer. Alan is now damaged goods. Alan lacks substance. Alan lacks credibility. Ghana deserves a leader with substance, someone who has real leadership skills (unlike John Mahama who seems to make things up as he goes along). It does n't matter which part of the country he hails from. The next NPP flagbear and hopefully President of the republic of Ghana should be able to demonstrate a solid and proven track record in leadership, planning and management. It could well be a woman, and why not.

THE NPP LOST THE LAST GENERAL ELECTION BECAUSE THEY ASSOCIATED THEMSELVES WITH FORMER PREZ JERRY JOHN RAWLINGS (REMEMBER NANA EKKUFO ADDO PAID HIM A VISIT AFTER THEY HAD THROUGHOUT AND AFTER HIS REIGN RECOGNISED HIM AS THE DEVIL INCARNATE. THEY EVEN TOPPED UP THEIR WOES BY ENDORSING WHOLLY JJ'S WIFE'S BID TO GO AGAINST THE NDC.
