How many Ewes live and work in the North to earn a living? Almost nil, because there is nothing there for them. And how many Ewes live and work in Akan areas to earn a living? Uncountable - carpentry, fufu pounding, farm labourer, construction labourer, aplanke (driver's mate), etc. Yet Ewes are never grateful to Akans and Kofi Awoonor even wrote a book calling for Akans (especially Ashantis) to be wiped out from the surface of the earth.

I hope Ewes will learn to love Akans. Kofi Awoonor should write another book to apologize to Akans.

Like you said, how many Ewes are in the North as compare to Akan area? I went to school at Koforidua and most of my classmates are Ewes living around that city. They move freely and feel comfortable as if they are natives. I remember one guy saying that he had never visited the Volta Region since he was born and when it comes to politics, they see themselves aligning with Northerners than those who have given them safe haven. That is how insincere some people are.

There is this ongoing animosity between Ewes and Ashantis yet, Ewes have a safe enclave in the heart of Kumasi. I do not remember the last time that some unruly Ashantis went berserk and attacked these Ewes. They have been living there and some cannot even trace their root to their homeland yet, they feel comfortably raining insults or any harsh words on their landlord at the snap of a finger.

Akans are the most tolerant tribe in Ghana a fact that some people will never accept.

Let me tell you that there is no Ewe living outside Eweland who cannot trace his roots. That idea exists, once again, only in your warped imagination. Your so-called tolerance of non-Akans in your midst is because they are law-abiding. Just get it straight from me here that there is nowhere in this world where the host community will tolerate insolence and disrespect from a non-native.

The so-called "Akan hospitality" is therefore a mythical assumption. Every community is guest-friendly.

I was a student at Ho poly when the then regional minister closed down the hostel occupied by what he termed 'foreigners in Volta Region'. The way you treat people from other regions is appalling but you are the first to move to other regions and almost always complain about anything. Live in your volta region and leave ours to us.

Ewes also live, work and earn livelihood in the north just like anywhere and are not restricted to your "Akan areas" alone. Ewes may be farm labourers, aplankes, fufu pounders and what not but just visit Lome, Glidji, Anecho, Cotonou and Cocotome. Your stock are there in their thousands cleaning public toilets and into prostitution.

Finally, it is only in your stupid mind that Ewes hate Akans, and as far as I know, Kofi Awoonor NEVER wrote calling for the extermination of the Akans. It is rather the swines in the persons of Okoampa Ahoofe and Kennedy Agyapong who advocate such.

Kofi Awoonor owes nobody no apology. It is rather Ahoofe and Agyapong who MUST apologise to the Ewe stock for their unguarded utterances. Anyway, the hardliners have already advised themselves as to how to handle your two swines.

Guinea flow is a very uguly bird with its dirty pencil legs.very unatractive to serve at any decent table.we have better poultry farmers association where many could have benefited from this huge money,why guinea flow?

can never win elections in ghana.If even they joined forces with the whole of the volta Region.Today they say Some party won only two regions,yet that party came second with all the north and volta put together,they had to get 6 more regions before they could win,although there were suspitions. so my advice to Mahama is that he should be very careful.He thinks it bad for other regions to enjoy free education, but it is right to keep using the small money of the country,to continue giving northners free education is that right?others should drop out from school,so they will feel all the political appointments right? ok .I guess it is high time political parties abondonat the idea of giving vice president slot to northners.this stupid idea must end now.it is very clear that they will easily kill the president when they get fed up been vice.
