WHAT IS HUMILITY?

The question asked is that what is humility? what constitute humility? Many atimes the very people who try to use the phrase humility against their opponents might be a person of no humility. John Hagee is not a pastor of humility. Humility and meekness are not the trait of many pastors I know and listen to in USA.They do not demonstrate humility or meekness in their approach of the gospel. USA by nature is not a nation of meekness or humility.

Humility by definition is the question of being humble or a modest sense of one's importance.Meekness is synonymous to meek, except meek is your new nature in Christ Jesus and humility is acting meek in your persuasions. The word humiliate originated from the word humility. Humiliate means put down by other people. Only the creator has the right to humility others, the rest in creation have to go through the proper order to humiliate. Normally, humiliation occurs out of jealousy, wickedness, insecurities and as corrections which is for goodness.

if you are arguing about the time factor of the directives i will partially agree with you that it could ridicule the 9 justices judgement on the same issue but my brother better late than never, The CJ took the opportunity of this case to bring the long awaited dream of how our court should be looked like .

I hope our honourble learned justice may take the directives in good faith and ask for more to make their work easire in the court room.

CJ will be first to be blamed so if every-one hears the case him/herself they will agree with the decision. CJ is now the HEAD of the "COUNTRY" and judges will bring peace or war. Let us open our eyes and read his statements carefully. The Supreme Court Judges made any decision on a vote cast by themselves. It's not only the Chief Justice decision but all the panel of Judges that decide on a particular issues and voted on it and the number of votes cast by the judges wins. So please don't let Kwesi Pratt fool you in that he is very surprised of change of events as his plans was go to court, come back and tell Ghanaian public lies. What should be done is re-run it in the evening if it's not done yet. This will enable those who were at work to watch what went on at the supreme court. This will eliminate any lost hours at work because it will be shown again in the evening.

She would have been better off to have allowed her colleagues an input into the decision making process.

There would have been nothing wrong in summoning a grand meeting of all the Supreme Courts Judges in order to get them to discuss the idea thoroughly after which a decision would be taken. This way the decision would have more support and not be tarnished or classified as a GEORGINA DECISION and so attract unfavourable comments and perhaps sew the seeds of disaffection among the Justices.

On reflection on whose behalf is the telecast being carried out ? The proceedings are in English which is not the language of the majority of Ghanaians. So without arrangements for simultaneous translations into the key Ghana languages, it is meant only a for a minority. the elites, who can be bothered to tune in..

Secondly it turned the Court into show court which our Justices are not used to. No doubt the audio was said to have been difficult because of the sitting arrangements of the Judges.

Thirdly the telecasting risked the danger of distracting the attention of the judges and lawyers from the case to perhaps thoughts about how thy are perceived by the pubic. Judicial decisions are made by well trained and experienced judges not by the public so should not risk being debased in any sort of way . The hope must be that the Judges will not be exposed to undue and distasteful public pressure whichever side they opt in their final judgement.

On the whole the telecasting and the decision to do so could not be said to have advanced our democracy

First, the CJ excluded herself from the bench and appointed nine Judges to deal with the case and their decisions should stick.We all know that she is their supervisor but to overruled their decision without review seems a little awkward.It has some people thinking that at the end of the trial, whoever wins can be overturned without review. The law states that a judge no matter how high do not overrule another judge without a review.he doesn't deserve insults because that was his opinion even though it came out wrong.

Kwasi Pratt is not sensible than the majority of Ghanaians who wanted to hear the case first hand. By what is going on, Ghanaians can make up the outcome even before the judges gives their ruling. I support it in toto.
