The directives are in the best interest of all three parties involved in the dispute (NDC, NPP and EC). This is to check time wasting and will have the same effect as if the documents would have been examined one by one.

The directives are in the best interest of all three parties involved in the dispute (NDC, NPP and EC). This is to check time wasting and will have the same effect as if the documents would have been examined one by one.

NPP and EC Attorneys will also use the same method in cross examining witnesses. It therefore applies to all and cannot favour or disadvantage any one party.

The heading of this news report is very inappropriate, misleading and wrong. These are the sorts of media reports that can cause tension and conflict in Ghana. Editors and journalists must be careful with the choice of words when reporting on this SC hearing.

SARPONG, I am assuming it's you signing in as CARDINAL. Of late, LONTO-BOY has disappeared completely from Ghanaweb. I have not seen his comment/s on Ghanaweb for weeks now.

LONTO BOY is a busy guy travelling between Ghana and London and that is why he appears here intermittently.

What effect will broadcasting this case have on the outcome? This case is different from all other cases as I think or as in my opinion. When the President wants to speak or there is an inaugural of a new President it is telecast and the people involved are happy to appear on television. What is wrong with people involved in this case appearing on television so that we see how truthful and inteligent they are to us? Do you want to put a spin on this too?

We Ghanaians who voted want to see, listen, hear and watch proceedings for ourselves lest the likes of Sam George, Sir John, Asiedu Nketiah and co. intepret proceedings as pertaining in court to us, with deliberate twisting of the issues. And also whilst at it, we pray that the issues would be dealt with expeditiously, as per the directive issued, so we can move forward as a country. I would hate to see the the likes of Sam George, Sir John or Asiedu Nketiah, come on air to explain issues in court to me as a Ghanaian, when they have not demonstrated that, they are in anyway intelligent than most Ghanaians are. Live telecast is very much appreciated, the alacrity with which the court wants to get to the bottom of the matter is excellent and we applaud the efforts of our most Esteemed Judges of the SC.

Justice Atuguba is incompetent for this case. First, he was asking why the EC Chairman wasn't in court when he was not supposed to, now he wants this case to be fast tracked by changing the Respondent Mode of Cross-Examining the 2nd Pertitioner. Why did he and the Judges not do their homework properly at closed door before proceeding for the hearing when the Pertitioners served him with the Pink Sheets. Why is Justice Atuguba being sectional when he is aware the Petitioners presented the said Pink Sheets? Well all I can say now is that Justice Atuguba should be carefull with the way he is handling this Case. He is making obvious for everyone to see that he influenced by the Petitioners. That guy should know that he is sitting on a time bomb case. His transparency is the only way he could be safe.

I wondered how long it would be before the NDC and their friends would begin to question the integrity of the Supreme Court so this comes as no surprise. It has been obvious for several days that this is what the comments from NDC spokemen were leading to.

It should be remembered that the panel of Supreme court judges hearing this case is made up of judges nominated to the Supreme Court by the both the NDC and the NPP so their approach to the case can be said to be bi partisan - they are hearing the case not as supporters of any one party but as judges interpreting the evidence against the provisions of the Constitution and the Rules governing to process and procedured relating to the conduct of Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

The fact that the majority of decisions made by the SC in this case have been unanimous despite the political affliation of individual judges speaks volumes.

Leave the Court alone to do it's job!!!
