  Nurses should fight their course void of other professions. If nurses were satisfied with their wage negotiation with the government, that's it.
  Nurses should grow up, you need more research into this important services, not just leaders who make noise because they want to be heard.Nursing is a caring professional, and patients care first. please research.

  There are different grades in nursing and pharmacy. Newly qualified nurses and pharmacists starting from the same salary spine is very justifiable. However, based on experience and skills gained through years of practice, these professionals should have different salaries. It doesn't matter whose salary is less or higher, what matters is what they can do to the benefit of the patient in health and safety wise. Although I am a nurse with less that eight years experience, my pay is the same as a junior doctor or pharmacist with my employer in the UK. It is all based on expertise, not just a qualification or degree level. Until the recent introduction of the compulsory BSc Nursing by the council, both Diploma and degree nurses were getting the same pay. Even now they are all paid the same. This is different in Ghana, where everyone thinks salary should be based on qualification or duration in schooling. And it is definitely wrong for one to think so. There are several job vacancies in health and social setting which requires that the applicant is a registered nurse or pharmacist, indicating, they are not just looking for a qualification but rather a medical background, experience in other fields such as communication and computer science. That is why research by both groups and government organisation is important to get fair, just and reasonable salary to the grades in both professions.

  A pharmacist can easily become a nurse.a nurse easily, cannot. The grade requirements for both courses are not the same at the universities. It takes the best grade to a medical Doctor, a better grade to become a pharmacist and just a GOOD grade to become a nurse. Thus each of these at the entry level, must be paid differently. This is a basic fact known to every Ghanaian.

Pharmacist only go to purchase readily prepared drugs and come to sell it over the counter like licensed chemical sellers.nurses can easily buy magnesium tricilicate powder, reconstitute with distled water, and label it "MIST. MAG TRICILICATE" like Pharmacist have been doing traditionally.The PHARMACOLOGY nurses do at school is just enough to enable them do this buy and sell pharmacy practise. apart from this buy and sell pharmacy practise, what else actually do the pharmacist do sincerely?
