  If that is the case, the photographers should advise themselves and stay away from such functions that these dogs will be in attendance period. As Kolotsi rightly said democracy is not good for the pigs/dogs. I don't get it why these fools/pigs and dogs behave like we are in the 15th century for Christ sake they should remember that this is the 21st century.

Infact democracy is breeding fools and that is why we are not moving forward but rather resorting to armed robbery, cutting of elect. cables ritual killings and the like.   When we talk of indicsipline in the Ghanaian society ,we can have a heap of examples.In the case of these journalists no one should consider their efforts to capture actions in the parade as indiscipline.They are media men and as such have the right to capture and report in their respective newspapers. If their acion was illegal or criminal the Millary High command would have accepted responsiblity and told the truth,but because the journalists were right and the soldiers were wrong their officers come to have deny any act of assault.Please look carefully at the picture in the article and judge for yourself what the soldier in the red berret standing close to the guy in civillian clothes was doing . The indiscipline here was on the part of the soldiers. Remember Rodney King's case in California ? Was he in violation of the law ? Yes. Was he surposed to be arrested Yes. What happened when the police officers mal-handled him? They were disciplined and Rodney King was compensated. It is high time Ghanaian become honest and call a spade a spade.   It must be noted "Noted" that it is illegal and an offense for a soldier to assault, no matter the provocation. The Armed Forces Regulations is very specific on it. A soldier is required operate under two (2) laws. That of the military and the civil. Per the incident of the 6 March 2012, the action of the soldier goes against the ethics of the profession. The victim should have lodged formal complaint with the Civil institutions that deals with the law. These types of kangaroo ambushing of the must be tested in the court of law. I still believe that the victim can still seek redress in court of " Law". The footage is enough evidence to go court. We must not subscribe to illegimate actions. The manhandling of the photojournalists is an indictment.
  What is Colonel M. Atintande trying to justify?
  No one is above the law. I served in the military and I was an advocate of ethical conduct. The actions of serving personnel many a time has negative effect on we those on retirement. I served without being unethical and therefore feel appalled when soldiers are categorized as unethical people.
  The pain of such categorization and castigation some of us can't bear.
  The media especially thinks every soldier is rogue, unethical and without civility. To this some of us vehemently detest. Being in a uninform do not make you a superman.
  To me, it is about time serious ethical education is instituted to orient the thinking of our colleagues still in service. Please, stop the embarrassment.
