Similarly, when Rawlings was creating the Upper West region, these same and additional good-for-nothing and backward Ghanaians stood vehemently against it. We really needed somebody like Rawlings, that time, to go boldly ahead to give birth to UDS and the UW region.

We remember Rawlings winning the said award with Mrs. Oklu (of the Nkulenu Industries), and giving the whole amount to the UDS library.

Kufuor had to called, reminded, and criticised b4 coming out to do what he did at Legon and KNUST. He sat on public money until coerced.

Right now head count of student population in UDS can tell Ghana that Southerners are far more in number than Northerners. Meanwhile, there are uncountable universities south of the barriar.

The people living in the three Northern regions, Greater-Accra, BA, Western, Central, and Volta do not hate and dispise fellow human beings like those in the remaining two regions. The guys in these two regions are the I.B.O. of Ghana.

Another legacy he left is the Parent Responsibility Act that gave Ghanaian women the rights to pursue DEADBEAT DADS who procreate like rats without contributing financially towards their upbringing.

By the way, President Mahama's administration must take urgent measures to bring back the original name of the so call AKO ADJEI interchange to SANKARA interchange and let NPP built their own interchange and name it like they want. Before J J Rawlings assumed office, Ghana had excellent schools that run for 7 years: Students did five-year G G E O Level and 2-year A Levels under all our governments before PNDC.

Then, there were good schools in Ghana sending children to Universities abroad through foreign scholarships. GCE A Levels changed lifestyles and many countries across the globe still continue with this time honoured excellent education system...Many NDC supporters abroad still have their children doing GCSE O Levels and GCE A Levels free of charge whiles NDC Government functionaries educate their children abroad, as local Ghanaians lose out and stuck with a most bogus education system invented by a semi-literate Rawlings called SSS (Stupid School system)

I reiterate herein that we had proper secondary school system in Ghana, then Rawlings and his socialist revolutionaries came to power and destroyed it. I still cannot understand this at all, especially when I go to Ghana and see so many young men and women walking about aimlessly claiming they had completed school but cannot calculate, read, speak, write or use basic IT Word like Rawlings himself. It rankles, and I blame this self seeking vainglorious man called J J Rawlings and his followers in NDC Sakabo...

Some say they destroyed the secondary school system to create a huge bank of near illiterates and dunces, who can easily be indoctrinated by their lies and propaganda during politics, and seem so true as every area with illiterate population voted for them whiles hall after hall of our Universities dealt them a heavy blow...for well educated people never vote for NDC...Educated Ghana will be free of such divisive tribalistic goons...but now we have only the feeble "sss" that churn out thousands of graduands each year into the abyss of society and ready meat for jaundiced propaganda of NDC type and wretched bribery goods and cash...

John Jerry Rawlings, John Mahama, John Atta Mills, Totobi Quakyi, P V Obeng, E K T Addo, the 3 Tsikatas, the 3 greedy Ahwois, Obed Asamoah, G K Agama, Justice Annan, Tony Aidoo, Nana Konadu, Ato Dadzie and many of these people who used to be Leaders of NUGS in their time of free education came together to destroy Ghana's time tested, proven, and resourceful education system, based on our unadulterated 7 years of Secondary School System.

John Jerry Rawlings destroyed our Secondary School education and therefore does not deserve any award. If he wanted degrees and honours from Universities, he could have gone across Achimota to Legon as many of his mates did; but now seeking free doctorate degree from a University deprived of good source of products to retain its premium status due to his diabolical scheme that destroyed our entire education system...

As for this gossip and innuendo of John corrupt Mahama, it proves that he is dim witted and deserve the country he rules now...such infantile mischief of a chief executive is so embarrassing, to say the least...It's always NPP...Does NPP own Legon?...By a singular statement of a President, Legon Authorities are consigned into the level of political puppets not independent of politicians...

I do not believe it...that Legon which stood toe to toe against military treachery in Ghana can succumb to President Kuffuor or Charles Gyimah and some NPP blokes about these matters except they rightfully thought the bastard did not deserve any award as I explain here...

He deserves no award and did not do anything for UDS...It was Aliu Mahama who singularly developed that little University in Wa...And who says Rawlings money did anything for Legon...That University of Ghana is like a Rock! We went to secondary school for 7 years, and the system goes on in UK and all over Europe - East and West; China; India; USA; Pakistan; South Africa; Australia; Chile; and even Cuba...No wonder children from sss in Ghana compete in schools and colleges abroad...they cannot read, write, speak and comprehend complex literature and often pay others to write exams and assignments for them in the Universities...

John Mahama is a complete failure to Ghanaians! Not knowing how to run the country efficiently and with everything he touches turning a disaster, he's not turned to using tribal and divisionary tactics or polarization to an attempt to win public sympathy. It's wrong! It clearly shows how desperate he's become trying to hang on to power in the face of mounting tensions and labour strikes including Doctors, Teachers and Nurses.

But this shouldn't surprise Ghanaians, because we're witnessing the direct effects or the essence of thievery in our electoral system and wanton corruption in govt and politics, the likes of which have never been seen in Ghana, since independence. It's a complete shame for Mahama to try to connect ex-Prez. Kuffour in this matter.

Rawlings and his AFRC/P-NDC ruled Ghana for nearly 20yrs without any improvement in the lives of the citizens of the nation. Kuffour, in 8yrs led Ghana to respectable heights which was admired by many countries in the world. Kuffour brought lots of development to Ghana eg; massive Road Construction, in education, he introduced Capitation Grant, NHIS and School Feeding Program as well as Mass Public Transport among others. The NDC under 4yrs started rubbishing and collapsing all the good achievement and gains that Kuffour was able to build. Yet, they're the very ones who'd mount public platforms and use lies and propaganda to deceive unsuspecting Ghanaians.

Well, John "Sledge Hammer" Mahama should wait; Ghanaians are eager to out him with lot more of demonstrations and civil strikes here and there. He's not capable of stearing Ghana unto paths of progress; he's just a waste bag gathering moss at the Jubilee House.

John "Sledge Hammer" Mahama must quit the seat of the President because he didn't win the December 2012 elections. The Kwadjo Afari Gyan-led EC conducted a dubious elections that helped him and the "Sasabonsam" party (NDC) to the throne.

The opposition knows it but since they are full of envy and jealousy and have no credibility, they continue to behave like the proverbial ostrich.
Kwame Nkrumah inherited money and was determined to use it wisely though his ambition was too high, but Rawlings inherited a bankrupt nation, and a people who had lost all hope,and yet led this nation from the abyss to where we are now; enjoying true freedom and democracy.
It is just apt that he is honored.After all international universities had conferred on him doctorate degrees which his humble personality would not allow him to display.
Truth like water will always find its own level.
It was unfortunate that blood was shed but what revolution does not.The blood purifies our sins. The dead must be honored by the leaving by making the best of the good things that their death has produced.
Rawlings is humble and honourable statesman.
May God grant him long life full of peace and contentment!!
Kudos to President Mahama for trying to correct this unpardonable error by the Kuffour administration.

The only way this would be relevant is when anyone of them persues a formal Phd degree with the pretex that, they would either use it at their work place or to some extent broaden their scope of thinking and doing things right. In either of the situations,conventional wisdom has eluded them. MAHAMA or RAWLINGS cannot be Phd holders in their life times or even masters holder of relevant courses. From my analytical point of view and being academic, each one of them is a good speaker but none has the well developed BRAINS TO PERSUE PHD DEGREE. OVER MY DEAD BODY.
