As long as they agreed to steal from the government of the corporation, they should also be arrested. If they were genuine people, they would have paid their bills and not trying to steal. Also, this means, there are over 1000 of those fake people in the system doing the same thing. People should be vigilant to get them out of the community. They are not good and must be kept away from the public. OH mother Ghana, you are in trouble.

The person knows very well that you are not a bill collector and therefore given you such an amount for you to wipe off his bill from a company record, is a crime. Go back to school and be disciplined in your mode of communication. tribalism will not take us anywhere as Ghanaians. If some one has committed a crime, let us deal with that person.

It was the victims who raised the alarm when the criminals refused to issue them receipt.

Of course the guy has duped them but i squarely put the blame to the victims as well for the extreme ignorance on their part wanted to conive with the supposed worker to dupe the ECG,instead of going to the appropriate office ...

Of course the guy has duped them but i squarely put the blame to the victims as well for the extreme ignorance on their part wanted to conive with the supposed worker to dupe the ECG,instead of going to the appropriate offices to pay the right fees with a receipt.Although steal is a steal but i think these sort of crime should serve a lesson to peoples to know the right thing to do instead of making payments in such forms to individuals who might approach them without a proper receipt.
