  The practice of people attacking police stations must stop. The police authorities should also take steps to train their staff in weapon handling. A warning shot from a traned policeman should not hurt a person close by. These shots are normally fired out of fear and in haste. Thanks to the authourities for the peace.

  For the fact two consenting adult had sex and the is pregnancy why should the father being a police ofc subject the young man to severe beating? That is nonsense and for ofc should face the law

  According to the youth leader, interviewed on radio, the boy was arrested and charged for abusing a minor. He said," if the girl voted in the last elections, how could she be a minor". If the charges against the boy holds, the the girl should be charged for voting as a minor. Her father should also be charged for brutality.

  FIRST OF ALL, WOULD IT NOT BE STUPID OR BACKWARDNESS TO ARREST SOMEONE BECAUSE A POLICEMAN'S DAUGHTER HAS BEEN IMPREGNATED?
  
  WHAT ABOUT THE AFFECTED POLICEMAN GOING TO THE COURT? THOUGH ASIEDU NKETIA HAS INDICATED THAT "IDIOTS" GO TO COURTS". THOUGH AM NOT LAWYER BUT STRONGLY FEEL THIS IS A CIVIL CASE!

  The cause of arresting the young man does not warrant his being beating. Impregnation of a girl is normally two sided and the boy cannot just jump on her and impregnate her if there has not been any agreement for the act. Besides the Police Officers are also culprits in impregnating people's daughters and they are never subjected to any physical punishment. A similar case happened in Hamile in the Upper West Region where a Police man used a hot pressing iron on the private parts (Penis and testes) of a young man he claimed was dating the same girl as he. When that happened the youth of the town ransacked the Police Station set it on fire and killed the suspect Police dead because of that. The Police should therefore be very careful.,
