  Are we being told that the Oil Companies can not desalinate salt water for drinking and washing? I am of the view that somebody is not telling us the truth here. If a company can desalinate salt water for a community of 200,000 people then how can an oil company not be able to desalinate salt water for workers working on its ships.

With this sort of mentality how can we go forward. We have been given numerous resources yet the blackman doesn't know what to do with them not even with the water bodies. I have read most of the books written by Nkrumah and as a young man I wept at some point.Africa must unite, I cry of freedom, Neo-colonialism the last stage of imperialism, Consciencism,The challenge of Congo, The class structure, and Dark Days in Ghana. All these books are enough for Ghana to develop. The ideas are still as brilliant after years these were written. These books go beyond strategic ideas for the country to catapult to another level. What a shame?

  this is double edged, let them buy from ivory coast and feel the cost as compared to ghana take away free price. they can also contribute to solving water crisis. as drillers, they have very sophiscated drilling machines and may just drill holes in land, providing pits as source of water. why do we see problems from only one source.
