There you go again, you shameless journalists, which one would have been more costly? The NPP taking up arms and destabilizing the country and it's follow up consequences on productivity and the economy, or as is the case now, going to court and getting live telecast so all disgruntled supporters will watch as the trial goes on for better appreciation of their suit?. Would this paltry sum of say Ghc 500,000 for 9 days be anything comparable to the losses these TV stations would have lost 9 days of chaos and civil strife? Think before you start inciting the public against live broadcast. Power corrupts and the only way Mahama and his co horts will hand over peacefully should the supreme court rule in that direction is that, the status quo be maintained, we are watching and will advice ourselves should the NDC go contrary to the supreme court's ruling. God bless Ghana.

the internal revenue authority should take note of this when tv stations are paying their taxes on revenues they make in the year when they alerted us on how much the lost in a day.

Whatever you guys do, we will watch it live on TV, no matter what excuses you may have. First it was productivity that was diminishing just because of the live telecast, forgetting so well that employers did not have electricity power to let their machienery function in their workplaces. Then it was because the election was free and fair so there is no need for live telecast. Then it came to the fact that international observers confirmed that it was free and fair but now it is because GBC is loosing money. No matter what amount they loose, we will not stop them from the live telecast so please stop the nonsense. There is no way we will allow Asiedu Nkasei to come out telling us lies as usual when there is no live telecast. It is only the criminals who do not want to see the case being live telecast. Please stop confusing the good people of Ghana because GBC is Ghana and Ghana is GBC.

No one forced metro and tv3 to telecast it live. GTV is the state broadcaster, and was given the directive to broadcast the proceedings. Metro and TV3 decided to broadcast it too, because they feared to lose out the audience ...
