Another tragedy, and another claim by Nigerian "prophet" TB Joshua that he predicted it.

According to Myjoyonline reporter Dorcas Efe Mensah, on January 19, 2013, Mr Joshua gave his prophecy of the April 15 bombing in America.

He reportedly said he had seen a “massacre in a gathering of people in America” and warned that such gatherings should be avoided or be “well-secured”.

“I want you to fast and pray for that nation, America. I see bombings roaming inside [the country]…” Ms Mensah said Mr Joshua told his congregation (How bombings roam is mother matter).

Question: How come we never heard of this "prophecy" on January 19?

Answer: Because there was never any such prophecy on January 19.

This is all an elaborate scam perpetrated by Mr Joshua and the video department of his church with the complicity of "journalists" like Miss Mensah.

The strategy, you see, is rather quite simple. Wait for a tragedy to happen and then make a video claiming to have prophesied it. For good measure, you can backdate the video digitally, and since the vast majority of people the don't know how these things work, you have nothing to worry about. In other words, you can stamp "January 19, 2013" on a video that was produced in August 2013.

The marketing department then goes to work, loads the video on YouTube and the church's website and then contacts its network of hustlers to use the likes of Miss Mensah with all manner offinancial and other inducements to promote the story.

To handle the backlash that always follows from critical minds, the church deploys people to defend Mr Joshua against any criticisms. Their favorite strategy is to quote Chronicles 16:22 - "Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm."

But they forget another Bible quotation, Matthew 24:24: "For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones."

These cyber defenders may have names like Kofi or Kwame, supposedly to show the popularity of Mr Joshua in Ghana. Na lie. They are Nigerians operating from Lagos, a religious 419.

So, here are my two challenges:

1. If Mr Joshua truly believes that he is a prophet, let him tell us today when and where the next world tragedy will occur. He shouldn't mock God by speaking in generalities. He should speak with the same details he once described a crashed airplane, where he supposedly predicted the color of the plane, the number of dead, their nationality, etc. (that of course was after the fact).

If not, then stop exploiting the tragedies and pain of families around the world. You can go to hell for that.

Question for Myjoyonline and TB Josuah: What was the recent clash between the Nigerian Army and Boko Haram in his own backyard not "prophesied" but he can prophesy things that happen all the way in America.

2. Myjoyonline should investigate Ms Mensah for possible financial influence (that's putting it mildly) from the TB Joshua posse. I assume of course that those who would do the investigation, like the editors, have not themselves been compromised.

This is important to protect their integrity.

Bawumiah claims to have used the collated sheet for some information and the clever ones will notice he used the pink sheets for his analysis but said he wasn't in the areas where the votes were cancelled so he couldn't have known in detail what happened there. Now since he was not at the polling stations that he is disputing, how can he prove beyond reasonable doubt that the events on the pink sheets from those stations are exactly what happened there? These events shows the inconsistency and double standards of Bawumiah. The petitioners have lost the case. they will need hard evidence to bail them out of this mess.

Agyarko said they were winning seats they had never won before. They did not ask their polling agents not to sign any pink sheet where non biometric voting took place. They thought they had it in the bag at 52% on their count.

Then when they found out they had lost, it was a case of over padding of votes by some 6,000 at Dome or some company intercepting and changing the figures. Having stated all these in their petition when it came to swearing affidavits they suddenly dropped all the electoral fraud allegations. The mountain of evidence was now duplicates, triplicates and quadruplicates of pink sheets.

How can the annulment of 4 million votes run true with a let my vote count demonstration. That is the absurdity of Akuffo Addo's case who wants to be SPECIALLY DECLARED President.

From the court proceedings so far, esp. in his cross-examination, Dr. Bawumia hasa stood his grounds firmly pointing things out to the NDC's so-called legal luminary that nobody can bend the rules governing the elections as set out and contained in the ES's own Eletion Bible. Yet, Tsatsu Tsikata thinks he can use his old court room tactics to confuse Bawumia. It's backfired big time. He's making a mockery of himself. An old lawyer trying to play mind games with a quick-witted young man. Tsatsu Tsikata is just joking. He thought he could intimidate the astute Economist, but now he's began to eat humble pie. Tsatsu is a shame! He must quickly complete his exercise and allow the crown of the election fraud case, Kwadjo Afari-Gyan to mount the dock for proper x-ray scanning. If the above quote is right, then we must find out what percentage error is acceptable in an election of this sort, statistically. If the error margins, as the NDC lawyers are now calling the irregularities, are above a certain limit, then there is clearly a case of systematic fraud in this election case. How can you have errors so large that they change everything in an election. Dr. Bawumia, who is also a statistician, must tell us what percentage error is acceptable and what is the percentage error introduced by the so-called clerical errors, etc. Otherwise the Statistical Service must be called in.

Bawumia does not understand simple questions; let alone to answer them right. He has constantly been lying under oath and he thought the panel of Judges are fools. No wonder he was reminded by the president of the panel of Judges that they are in a court of law and not having presidential debate.
How on earth would an aspiring Vice presidential candidate claim not to know Osafo Maafo visited the Israeli company building in Dzorwulu during the NPP mob action, when it was the NPP party officials who came out on air to announce they have officially sent one of their bigwigs in the name of Osafo Maafo to ascertain the truthfullness of vote manipulations in the then allerged building in Dzorwulu?
He went further under oath to lie that he didn't know Obasanjo was at the place. Come on! Didn't Osafo Maafo come to brief you and Nana Addo about his visit to the place? What kind of vice presidential candidate were you? Where you not interested in the results at stake, though you have chosen to be the leader of the committee assigned to investigate the allerged election fraud?
