All that he can do is to privately advice the organization. The firm can take the advice or not. The fact that SSNIT has a majority shares of the company does not compel him to address the firm as if it is a public organization. He has the right to stop the sale of the bank if it is a public company.

It is fact that management of MOST of our local banks is crap - this is the TRUTH Ghanaians don't want to accept. The evidence: read reports on companies written by our analysts, and comments from some of our banking executives.

Stopping the sale will not solve the problem with this entity. Protect your money if you have savings at this bank, because it is a time bomb. The cost of resuscitating this bank will be more expensive and painful for the government and employees.

when will you monkeys stop your arbitrary comments, proving yourselves ignorant and therefore cursed. you abuse this God given opportunity to ask questions especially where we lack understand. we all seem frustrated. to such an article, why cant we ask the question if a president has the right to stop such a transaction or not. let us ask for all other components, to see if the final decision is in the interest of our dear nation. these would add up to the general performance of elegant atenga after 4 years. nana is yet to be our president, although he has served the nation otherwise. his criticisms or appraisals must be based on how he functioned or performed. anything outside this box is unhealthy. i know of a saying that the devil you know is better than the angel you might not know. if the Almighty has shortlisted him as a one day President of our dear nation, nobody could stop and same for otherwise. if we could do nothing to stop kuffour in selling or buying starch and vodaphone, then we are likely to face the same fate with atenga. what we need to do is to be constructive. he is a human being and let the public opinion work on his conscience. jj was in power for almost the double if not more than kuffour, i never lived in gh all these years, but jj seems less nervous than kuffour, who anytime he visits swiss for bank statements, will want everybody to know he was the former.... what he doesn't know is that kofi annan walks around, going by taxi when necessary, going by limousine when it suits best. going to dent and medics with everybody. open up your eyes and ears for we are too judgmental and this is a curse, for God sends His angels in the form of human.
