Tsikata was tried for causing financial loss of GH¢230,000 to the state after a trial through the Accra Fast Track Tribunal, one of many set up by the Kufuor government to try such cases. The trial lasted for six years. He was pronounced guilty on 18 June 2008 by Mrs. Justice Hernrietta Abban. The length of the trial is reputed to be the longest ever involving a former government official in the history of the country. Tsikata was born at Keta in the south of the Volta Region of Ghana.[1] He was however brought up at Adabraka, a suburb of Accra, the capital of Ghana. He started school at an early age because he wanted to follow his older brother Fui to school. He first attended Additrom Preparatory School and then Mrs Sam’s Preparatory School, a school also attended by Jerry Rawlings. He was again moved to Accra Newtown Experimental School where he was jumped from Year 2 to Year 3, catching up with his older brother Fui.[2] He won a United Africa Company (UAC) scholarship in 1960 to start his secondary education at the age of 9 years at the Mfantsipim School.[2][3] On completion of his 5 year course, he gained admission into the University of Ghana, Legon at the age of 16, where he obtained an LL.B First Class degree at the age of 18 years. Only one other 18 year old had completed a degree programme at that time. His lecturers included Professor Ofosu Amaah and Dr. Obed Asamoah, a former foreign minister and Attorney General of Ghana.[2] He then won a post-graduate scholarship from the University of Ghana to Oxford University where he again obtained first class honours in Bachelor of Civil Law which is equivalent to a master's degree at other British universities.

Tsatsu has been making good points lately! the fact is that the NPP polling agents were there to raise an alarm to every misconduct or irregularities. In fact, no objections were raised in about 99% of the polling stations. Lets be frank here, are we saying that we should nullify over 4 million votes cast because a EC official did not sign a document or because the some officials did not do their part well. It will not be fair for all these votes to be thrashed based on these flimsy reasons. For me, i thought the NPP had a reasonable case so i was supporting them, but thank God that the hearings are being shown live on GTV. Since they do not have major proof of malpractices and proper stealing of ballots, they should rest their case and start working on 2016, After all, nothing seems to be working in Ghana.

NDC supporters are always making funny statements on the internet. Tsatsu Tsikata is trying to discredit Dr. Bawumia's testimony or assertions. But it won't work! The man has concrete proof that there was irregularities and general fraud in the elections.

What Tsatsu Tsikata wants to tell Court, Ghanaians and the world is that there was no resistance at the polling stations during the elections. The NDC thought they were clever. They were expecting chaos on election day so the could accuse the NPP of violence, because, Nana Akufo-Addo had earlier strenthened all NPP supporters to be bold and firm when he made that pouplar "all die be die" statement to party supporters.

NPP was calm and clever during elections; they never made any wild protests. When they complained about their discoveries to the EC, Afari-Gyan dismissed their claims, telling them to go to court. The NDC funnily told Ghanaians that the NPP had no case and that "any idiot could go to court" amid cheers and jubilation from their ignorant supporters.

Now Nana Addo & Co., have filed their writ at the court; the case is on, at the Supreme Court. They're asking why we've come to court. Funny people!

I've been saying this that Tsatsu Tsikata is frustrated; he seems to be overwhelemed by Dr. Bawumia's cool-and-collected posture as he answers Tsatsu's questions thrown at him. The NDC man wanted to use old court-room style and tactics to intimidate Dr. Bawumia, but that has miserably and totally back-fired!

He cannot bring himself to admit that the election fraud case that's before the Supreme Court Justices is a serious crime. Instead he so interestingly keeps on threatenning Dr. Bawumia of perjury. It's obvious that Tsatsu is frustrated and confused. He attempted to use a forged letter purported to have been written by Nana Akufo-Addo to EC. That letter was received 2-3 days before it was written. Wow, wonders, our elders say, will never end. I'm just hoping that Justice Atuguba & Co., will take good notice. The NDC is "Sasabonsam" party and must be watched closely.

Tsatsu Tsikata is trying to use the court to drag the process; he's attempting to use delay tactics by constantly asking the same bogus questions on the pink sheets, which Dr. Bawumia has earlier explaing was used only ONCE in its final analysis.

I wonder how long our Noble Justices would allow him to continue doing that. The man should be cautioned not to attempt to waste people's time. Because Ghanaians all over the country and around the world are yearning to see the face of their Redeemer---the Moses and Saviour---who is ordained by God to rescue the nation out of hardship, economic mess and misery, under the incompetent and clueless NDC govt.

Tsatsu Tsikata is disrespectful and also wasting the court and people's time. It's time to get him out of the way. Ghanaians are waiting to hear from Kwadjoe Afari-Gyan's testimony.

There were rumours he actually resigned from the NDC legal team after receiving the further and better evidence that they asked for, since he knew it would be a difficult case to win. He was persuaded to stay on to avoid reputational damage to the NDC's case. So, he stays on but can get Mahama to buckle; and Philip Addison, another small boy is tormenting him with his successful objections. What do you expect.

John Mahama in concert with the EC, rigged the elections and no amount of screaming, shouting and uncouth behaviour from the supposed legal luminary, can change the very essence of the case, which is, JDM conniving with the EC, to appropriate the people's popular mandate, and that's the hard bare staring in face fact.

Asking mr Addison to "shut up" would have been a command and disrespectfull, which he Tsatsu did not do. The Judges could have intervained if he did that. That is why they kept mute. Mr. Addison could have answered "yes" or "no", I don´t personally see anything wrong with Tsatsu´s question. It is rather a disrespect if mr. Addison did not answer him. We are to learn from this Tsatsu. The Lawyers of the NPP should know this and stop misleading us.
