Why did Js. Atuguba have to remind Addison that the respondents had never waived their rights as he was vigorously contending? When he realized he had been beasten to the 'punch' he displayed some 'bravado' by calling for the count right there and then,as if that would have been feasible.
In a 'surgical' fashion, Tsatsu is carefully unravelling the carefully crated charade the NPP refers to as "solid evidence" before the eyes of whole world. This case is clearly headed for the thrash bin,where it rightly belongs!

I wonder where the fraud is. Honestly I was expecting the petitioners to point to us Ghanaians that this or that number of votes were added to Mr Mahama's votes at so and so and so polling stations or that this and that is the actual result from this or that polling station but the EC have added this or that to it in calculating the results. Or that Nana had this much votes at this or that polling station but that someoner has subtracted this or that number to reduce his votes and so on or that the EC has manipulated the votes of Nana by reducing the number that he actually got and used the reduced figure to calculate the results and that is why he lost or that is why Mahama won. So far we have not heard anything of the sort. We are being shown pink sheets that have columns not marked, sometimes no signatures of returning officer etc but funny enough almost all these sheets have the endorsement of the vigilant party agents including those of the NPP. This is a pure foolish case and has no merit. There is absolute lack of credibility especially where it has become crystal clear thatthe selection of the polling centres for making the NPP case has been so skewed and narrowed to the polling stations where Mahama won leaving out all the polling stations where Nana won even though they have those same so-called irregularities. This case is a real example of a "foolish case".

But because they from the bottom of their heart that no rigging took place they are relying on this minor administration errors to escape the wrath of their supporters having promise them so much. because tribalistic politice NPP supporters whether in denial or too timit to confront their leaders for tangible answers about their defeat. google canada 2011 election report and you see that these errors are common practice in every election even in the so called advance world how more Ghana where those it those who perform poorly at O' Level that went to traning colleges who became our teachers and then the various polling agents and the election officers

In order to recommend the best changes to the electrol system the court must have all the facts. In either case, the NDC can claim that they received less than 11,842 pink sheets. This is the reason NDC doesn't want to declare how many pink sheets they have in their possession. I suspect the NDC lawyers are being dishonest.

Pink sheet has name of presiding officer, date of election, time voting stopped but NPP say because the presiding officer did not sign, this is so serious an infraction of the law that all the votes should be annulled. NPP polling agent did not sign the pink sheet and gave reasons in remarks column showing that NPP polling agents were in fact vigilant but where they signed and Bawumia see irregularities then the polling agents were merely observers.

If the count is way short of the 11,842 that the petitioners claimed to have submitted, then there are some issues to be clarified.

1. Did the petitioners submit inflated figures in an attempt to deceive the court as has been suggested by Tsikata?

2. Did the court registry deliberately misplace some of the pink sheets, in order to provide an opening for Tsikata, thereby under-mining the Petitioners case?

3. If the lower count is supported by evidence, how does it now affect the substantive case with respect to the points laid out at the beginning of the hearing?

Whatever happens, if the count is now questioned, there could be serious implications.

As far as objecting to the counting, I cannot help but wonder if this is just a strategy; not all of them are over-ruled.

I can see the point being raised by lawyer for the 3rd respondent. His argument all along has been that there were duplication, triplication and in some cases quadruplication, plus the photocopying of the same pink sheets and their use multiply.

If you understand and follow Set Theory, that would mean that to test Bawumiah's argument that he did not use duplicates etc. in his analysis, the main and simplest way to test this is to do a head count in which you match serial numbers and thereby eliminate duplicates etc. plus pink sheets that the respondents allege have been "reclassified" and used for different polling stations. I think this is a simple, honest and fair request and disagree with the objection of the petitioners. After all, we all want to see and know the truth so if as the petitioners claim, they submitted 11,842 pink sheets, then why are they afraid of a head count?

Let's have this count to establish whether Bawumia's central argument about "not using a pink sheet for analysis more than once" actually holds water. I believe this is a critical phase of the hearing.

If the NPP claim they have done the right things they shouldn't bother at all about this audit request. This makes me see the sense of the adage "you can fool some people all the time but...". As for the lawyers of President Mahama and the EC, they just came to waste people's time. it is Tsatsu who is really punching the holes into the so-called evidence by the petitioners and pushing them to the wall, which is what they deserve. Tsatsu is just wasting everyones time. THe physical copies of the pink slips were delivered with a list of all the polling stations being contested. List also went to court in electronic copy form - a CD-ROM.

Also a point to note is that the NPP amended the number of polling stations in its final submission to 11,318 so off course there are less than 11,842 pink slips.

Tsatsu Tsikata is just clown...an overrated one at that.

Election result are arrived at by counting ballots and pink sheets in Ghana. Any one failing to get this should not be at court in the first place to contest result. And they also call themselves learned lawyers. These guys are mentally sick and should be seeing a doctor for treatment. Sick brains and idiots wasting our time and money.
