The NDC would have to explain to Ghanaians how a dead man came to author and sign a letter!

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. Tom's best friend Chris comes over one day to see Tom but Tom is not home. Tom's wife Susie opens the door and tells him to come in and make himself comfortable, Tom will be home in 15 minutes. Susie is reading a magazine and notices that Chris is looking at her rather strangely.
"Chris, is there something I can get you?", she asks.
Chris replies as a matter of fact yes. "Susie, you've got some awfully nice breasts! Tell you what, if you show me just one of your breasts I will give you $100!"
Susie sits and thinks about this for a moment. Hmm, $100 bucks, easy money, I don't have to sleep with the guy and Tom will never find out. So she decides to do it. She gets up and pulls up her shirt and lets Chris look at one of her breasts.
"Wow", says Chris, "that was nice!"
He then proceeds to throw a $100 dollar bill on the table. Susie sits back down and realizes that Chris is eyeing her again.
"Tell you what Susie", says Chris. "If you show me your other breast I will give you another $100!"
Susie thinks about it for a moment and says to herself, "Wow, $200 bucks, I don't even have to sleep with the guy and Tom will never find out!"
This time she decides to throw in a little extra and gives him a lap dance as well. Well 15 minutes had passed and Tom was due home at any moment. Chris gets up, throws another $100 dollar bill on the table and leaves. Susie is bewildered but doesn't think much of it. Just as Tom comes home Susie picks up the $200 and sticks it in her pocket.
Tom comes in and says, "Susie, why wasn't that Chris I saw pulling out of here?"
"Why yes", Susie replies.
"Well what did he want", says Tom?
"I'm not quite sure," says Susie.
Oh well, replies Tom I just hope he brought by that $200 bucks he owes me!

There are no free lunches. The Petitioners should have thought of this before embarking on their fantasy trip. They don't questions asked unless they know in advance or it is theirs. They alone can make mistakes, commit irregularities, errors, omissions, etc and not be held accountable. But EC which handled a hundred times their data and had to make declaration in 48 hours cannot make mistakes. They take no responsibility for their Polling Agents. Their Witness-in-Chief was not at any of the polling stations. Why is he the witness? He could spew out numbers and percentages if it suits him, but cannot recollect who he met.They want their cake and eat it too. They live in glass house and want to be allowed to throw stones.
The tried to pull off the oldest trick in the book: if are called for audit by the IRS, you find the biggest box and fill it with junk to divert them. Their goose is cooked. They and anyone else in the future should know that this reckless action of holding the country hostage and causing political mayhem and economic uncertainty leading to loss of confidence in investors should not go unpunished. If it is true that any of the parties involved in this petition is calling for such 'gratis' or pro bono work from KPMG, then that is most disgraceful and an indictment of their level of seriousness as institutions, parties or organisations.

I sincerely hope this statement is not true. In any case, I would be most surprised if the firm would undertake the job for free, and it mustn't under any circumstances.

Capitalism dictates that goods and services as well as labour should be paid for.
KPMG is a private business entity with financial obligations of their own; they are not a charitable organization.
Are the lawyers representing the NPP in court doing it for free?
NPP should grow up and act with maturity.
NPP should wake up from dreamland and face reality.
