I like the expression 'my' contract. He never had a contract with the government. As I understand it, he had a contract with Vamed to organise the finance. Although it had been signed, the contract could not be effective until the finance was in place. Woyome failed to fulfil his obligations so the government had no option but to declare the contract not effective and find someone who could do the job properly.
