If not i don't see how serial numbers have effect on votes cast if they are not duplicated. It is the polling station code that shows the uniqueness of the vote. For example Bantama LA can have polling station code B10000034v and that code never been repeated at Bantama Dwom. Because they are two different polling station. That is the security number. But at Bantama LA the serial number on the sheet is the same as the serial number on a pink sheet in Sapase LA. You cannot cancelled that vote because they have the same serial meanwhile you attest that the votes count are different. Please it can never been done anywhere. Please stop quoting that bogus CI cos it has its own constitutional inconsistencies and the lawyers will get there when it comes to the briefing.

It's effect can only be seen if the results from the pink sheets with the same serial numbers are alien to Bawumia or there is a duplication of the votes of the other polling station. If Bawumia to the world that the serial numbers affected the results Akuffo Addo had that is a fine case but not serial numbers duplication and you are speculating it could amount to rigging meanwhile you attest to the fact that the results on the sheet for your candidate are genuine. Please this is no case at all in election.

You can have serial numbers that a similar but if not found in the same polling station it does not affect anyone votes. The issue is when you have two or more polling station code numbers it means voting was done at the same poolling staion twice not the serial numbers. So Tsatsu Tsikata & Co., want to tell Ghanaians that the EC took party agents through the printing process and assured them that it was okay to have duplicate serial numbers, in the December elections?

Well, let me tell Tsatsu Tsikata that serial numbers determine the IDs of products or files and are unique to each item that it's been assigned to. It clearly identifies a product or file and prevents against fraud, as in Currencies, Electronic Devices, Automobiles, Aircrafts ect.

Tsikata should open his eyes and stop making bogus assertions before the court. He still harbours the funny notion that since some of the lawyers in the court went under his tutelage in law school, he knows better than them. He however seem to be relying on the old and archaic law practice, that seem not be working in his favour.

The EC and NDC have been caught red-handed in an election fraud. With the overwhelming evidence presented before the court, the only way Tsatsu and his team could survive this hearing is to use dealy tactics, so the process may drag on forever. They're finding ways to allow John Mahama to continue to stay in office even when it's evident that he isn't the winner of the December elections.

Let's pray for the Supreme Court Justices for divine direction so they may do what is good and honest for Ghana and her quest to move forward in progress and prosperity. May God bless our Homeland Ghana.

Please it is the polling station codes that determines the uniqueness of the polling station. If the sheet bears the same polling station code it then means voting and results has been duplicated. But you can say becuase my polling station pink sheet bears the same serial as one in UPPER WEST hence my vote should be cancelled whilst you have not been to prove whether does votes were cooked or are from polling station that is alien to them. Please you cannot disenfranchise someone because the pink sheets that is vote was recorded on has the same serial number with other one someone meanwhile the person has not been able to prove it is duplicated vote counting of my own.

The category of alleged malpractices involving duplicated pink sheet serial numbers is very controversial and problematic and should never have been one of the basis of NPP Claims of electoral fraud.

The first reason is that the pink sheets or polling station results declaration sheets are mere summary sheets and need not be numbered at all. The only reason why the EC will have them numbered them will be for administrative purposes but not for any legal reasons or requirement. I am yet to see a Statutory or Constitutional provision that requires the EC to number pink sheets and also ensure that they are not duplicated. In fact the EC could have ignored numbering them and that will not in any way lead to electoral fraud, ie reduction or padding of votes for one candidate against the other.

The second reason why NPP shot itself in the foot for seeking to annul votes in this category is that it only helped to swell the volume of data that was required to be processed and thus led to the many errors which Tsatsu has been pointing out in the last few days. It will have paid NPP to concentrate on a few 1,000s of pink sheet and raise very accurate arguments to have at least 500,000 votes cancelled than to shoot themselves in the foot in this manner. The NPP could have reduced the number of pink sheets by at least 7,000 to a workable number for which the numerous NPP errors with the exhibit numbering, etc will have been avoided. One must note that you have no moral high grounds to stand on to chastise somebody who made mistakes if you also make similar mistakes in the process of doing so.

The third reason why NPP should not have gone to court with duplicated pink sheet serial numbers is that the large number of pink sheets is going to delay court proceedings as we are begining to see.

It was the most useless of the so called alleged malpractices and has potrayed the NPP as bad losers in the eyes of any discerning onlooker.

Bawumia's argument in court that there was a high correlation of the other malpractices to the duplicated pink sheets is only an exercise of academic dishonesty. If you have such a high ration of duplicated pink sheets to the others, then you can expect nothing but such a high correlation.
Also his claims that the duplicated pink sheets were used as a vehicle to commit fraud is most myopic. Is he in court to only speculate evidence. If you think that something might have happened but cannot pinpoint what actually happened then you do not produce it in court as evidence.
