Nobody is above the law.if the court rules, the winning side leads the nation and put measures to arrest and punish those foolish people who would cause trouble. So it is not a matter of Mahama or Nana Addo behaving contrary to the verdict of the court. Now DR Sekou Nkrumah gave a biased and self-serving opinion on this matter. He oughts to know that the failed to do its job and can not be trusted to settle any disagreements that arose. It is the duty of te Supreme Court to look into the matter and rule on it.After this case the EC will learn a lesson to do its job as professionals and hire any stupid people to conduct or supervise subsequent elections.Or DR Afari Gyan can be replaced. There are a lot of competent independent minded Ghanaians who can head the EC to conduct free, fair and transparent elections and call results as they are without favouritism.Sekou should not make it look like we have no competent people in Ghana.I do not align with any party but I feel the truth must be said at all times nomatter the personalities involved.

Sekou Who? Frankly, besides his qualified profession which we all have, the only thing this guy has, is being the son of Dr. Nkrumah as he's always been referred to by the press as though it qualifies him to be anything. His analysis of political events in Ghana have always been shallow, and indeed, lacking substance. Where was Sekou when the EC told the petitioners to go to court with their grievances? Did he harbor this same view then, when the EC arrogantly ignored all pleas by the petitioners to at least entertain their concerns about the seeming idea of irregularities before going ahead with his mischievous declaration? Sekou should worry about his party and his political fortunes, and leave the NPP and Nana Ado alone.

That being the case, the job has become a service to the nation.
The problem with NPP it seems is one of discriminatory greed especially as they underrate northerners in the political hierarchy.
Akan is the largest and most clearly spoken dialect in the country and NPP believes successive governing of the country should be Akan. That is the main problem because northerners GPD contribution to the national economy overall appears to suggest that they should play second fiddle to any government in place because they were mostly employed by asantes on their cocoa farms(history)President Mahama is the beneficial of the sympathy from the demise of a sitting president Atta-Mills because he had the courage to appoint a Fante to the Veep vacancy and enjoyed the full support of all Fantes. You are an Nzema by your father of whom you are proud to be his son. That is how it goes in ghana.

Sekou or whatever your bloody name is, you are the one person who is not analising things properly. I really don't know how you got a Ph.D but then you should have known the reason why this whole case was brought to court. If that KWADWO TILAPIA was sensible enough, believe me, no one would have been in court by now. He bullishly told NPP to go to court if they were not satisfied with the nonsense he did by declaring Atopahene as president elect. How do you sort out differences with an EC with a person like KWADWO TILAPIA as the head. On the issue of what went on in 1992, 1996, etc it is quite intriguing that you should even bring it up. If things went wrong and the parties kept mute over that at that time, it was their prerogative. You can't bring that now into the current situation where discerning Ghanaians are not going to be fooled to allow this kind of nonsense to continue. Wrong is wrong - no matter how you want to interpret it. You are also inferring by your assertions that our judges and lawyers dealing with this petition at the Supreme Court are complete IDIOTS for not realizing that this is a complete waste of time. No doubt you and your lot can never hold political power again. Sad to say that even that your dictatorial father who was rightly or wrongly toppled appears to be more sensible than you. God bless Attah Mills (of blessed memory) for kicking your bloody ass out of his government. From all indication all can see that you are actively lobbying for a position from the current government. I think Dr. Nkrumah has forgotten that it was Dr. Afari Gyan who dared NPP people to take the case to court. He (Dr. Nkrumah) should have done some sort research before coming out with this article. Thank you.

My brothers and sisters, elections all over the world are worn at the polling stations with complains of massive fraud or rigging emerging from the polling stations. But if after the polls of about three or four days, people instead of counting their lost and make meaningful proposals for subsequent elections, will surreptitiously run to Supreme Court(SC), then let them fool their followers. The simple question is, if you do not accept results at the polling station, do you in turn expect anybody to accept results at the SC if it goes against the popular will? What NPP wants they will get it at all cost. In any case, they have the privilege to fool and incriminate themselves.

I'm wondering if Sekou Nkrumah is following the court proceedings as is being unfolded each day. There is no lack of scepticism that the electoral commisioner is unfit to conduct any future elections. He himself has confessed that there were a lot of ERRORS and for that matter MISTAKES that characterised the 2012 elections. So my question to Sekou is this, that: would he employ a failed teacher (a teacher who cannot pass any exam or better yet makes so many mistakes during exams..)to teach his children? Of course not. I will kick him out and employ a qualified teacher to teach my kids not one who scores 2/50, making so many mistakes. A wise statement to the fool is foolish whereas a fool is always a fool who will always act foolishly. So Sekou must rethink and make a wise judgement. Afari Gyan must be put in jail with Jon Mahama who benefited from Afari gyan's thievery. Anyone who purchases a stolen item is as liable of theft as the stealer.

Was he in this country when Afari Gyan created new constituencies when it was clear that, it was going to be a recipe for disaster? In all this Afari Gyan said, WE CAN GO TO COURT, which emboldened the likes of Asiedu Nketia to issue his infamous comment that, ANY IDIOT CAN GO TO COURT. We are in court and very soon Afari Gyan would know that there's evidence. Asiedu Nketia too would know who the idiot really is.

I have used to maintaina modicum of respect for the youngest son of Kwame Nkrumah but everyday he's proving he's just a soldier of fortune. How will the verdict create complications for the nation when both Nana and Mahama have pledged to stand by the verdict, win or lose. Maybe now that he has been re-admitted to the NDC fold he has in his possession info that the general population is not privy to. Is the NDC planning to reject the Supreme Court verdict if it goes against them? The NDC has never believed in democracy and the rule of law. In 1992 Rawlings publicly stated his disdain and abhorrence for democracy because according to him it would tie his hands behind his back. We live to see.
