It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution...

In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is obviously king. Ghanaians know Asiedu Nketiah for what he is -- an uncultured apology of a politician who has made political chicanery, brazen mendacity, and insulting behaviour his stock-in-trade. Yaw Boateng Gyan really sounds pathetic and must bury his head in shame. Nobody takes him seriously.

Tsatsu's stumbling struggle to end his lengthy cross examination, the disappointing somber looks of his learned friends and a sigh of relief from the bench, were expressive epitome of time wasted and failure to deliver a punch weighty enough to derail a determined opponent from a position fortified with consistency and youthful resilience. The Bawumian spirit was undoubtedly dominant in a battle of words, repetitious demands for answers and adamant display of arrogant persistency by a counsel whose apparent demeanour exhibited signs of frustration and anger; popular characteristics of senile fatigue.

Tsatsu's digression into a territory reserved for summation quickly subjected him to riducle from the audience and rebuke by the bench. In all indications the scale tilted when he droped his lastwords out of frustration and exhausted facts - but they were words to suggest a come-back for more cross-examination, a distasteful expectation met with chagrin of the audience. How could such an intelligent mind overlook the necessity to wear helmet of facts before jumping into a gruesome legal traffic ? Why must this personality defy all odds to take us beyond horizons of roller-coaster expectations, all in search of tools to defend the indefensible ?

At some point it was hard to believe if this was that long awaited legal luminary, under so much expectation to be armed with some high-tech legal weapons to cause terrifying inferno, enough to make witnesses burn in their seats and make petitioners run helter skelter in search of hiding places. From the looks of events it was a complete disillusion. Tsatsu was such a disappointment that the court room which was initially jammed with his fans in audience when he began mounting a defense settled with half empty seats as he bored them with his pink sheets and humdrum orthodox style of cross examination. In the end he emerged tamed and gored into submission.

Today he is court pleading with hopes to cross-examine vulnerable witnesses with unrelated relevance to the issue at heart. All to redeem his lost glory. Pitiful

I terribly miss Johnny Cochrane : may he rest in peace.

I beg to diffier with Yaw Boateng Gyan. Asiedu Nketia's track record of foul language, insensitive, rude, insulting and negative remarks means we are assured of more rubbish when he takes the stand in court. He is going to be lying, pontificating and turning the whole court room into a media circus. He has no finesse and really is about to drop a bombshell of incompetence. The rules of evidence state that the third party testifying for President John Mahama, will be treated as hearsay. It will be inadmissible. Mahama submitted an affidavit himself and should be examined, questioned and cross-examined personally about the pertinent information and contents of the sworn affidavit.

The Supreme Court should adhere to the rules of evidence and not chop and change to suit themselves or suit anyone.

If Maham wants to withdraw his affidavit, so be it. He can choose to go on the witness stand himself or let his paper evidence speak for itself.

Asiedu Nketia can give evidence for himself. Does he have locus standi? He cannot give evidence on behalf of anyone else. Period!!

Tsatsu's stumbling struggle to end his lengthy cross examination, the disappointing somber looks of his learned friends and a sigh of relief from the bench, were expressive epitome of time wasted and failure to deliver a punch weighty enough to derail a determined opponent from a position fortified with consistency and youthful resilience. The Bawumian spirit was undoubtedly dominant in a battle of words, repetitious demands for answers and adamant display of arrogant persistency by a counsel whose apparent demeanour exhibited signs of frustration and anger; popular characteristics of senile fatigue.

Tsatsu's digression into a territory reserved for summation quickly subjected him to riducle from the audience and rebuke by the bench. In all indications the scale tilted when he droped his lastwords out of frustration and exhausted facts - but they were words to suggest a come-back for more cross-examination, a distasteful expectation met with chagrin of the audience. How could such an intelligent mind overlook the necessity to wear helmet of facts before jumping into a gruesome legal traffic ? Why must this personality defy all odds to take us beyond horizons of roller-coaster expectations, all in search of tools to defend the indefensible ?

At some point it was hard to believe if this was that long awaited legal luminary, under so much expectation to be armed with some high-tech legal weapons to cause terrifying inferno, enough to make witnesses burn in their seats and make petitioners run helter skelter in search of hiding places. From the looks of events it was a complete disillusion. Tsatsu was such a disappointment that the court room which was initially jammed with his fans in audience when he began mounting a defense settled with half empty seats as he bored them with his pink sheets and humdrum orthodox style of cross examination. In the end he emerged tamed and gored into submission.

Today he is court pleading with hopes to cross-examine vulnerable witnesses with unrelated relevance to the issue at heart. All to redeem his lost glory. Pitiful

I terribly miss Johnny Cochrane : may he rest in peace.

Popularity death, akin to the natural, is a cruel but impartial extractor of giants from heights of admiration : it spares none when its bells toll for an end.

Politics is surely dirty. Of course no one expects both parties in the petition case to take things easily. Nevertheless, the assurance that we have and maintain is that, at the end of it all, the WILL OF GOD WILL PREVAIL FOR THE PEACE OF THE NATION AND ITS CITIZENRY. Surely and divinely, the expectations of the "prophets/prophetesses of doom" shall not prevail.

For all the dirty things that Yaw Boateng Gyan and Johnson Asiedu Nketiah have done and continue to do, they never want to see the country grow and develop. Come to think of it, what monumental achievements in life have the two chalked. The only thing to their credit has been CHEATING and STEALING. Just visit their backgrounds in Brong Ahafo Region to find out things for yourselves.

God have mercy on these and all nation-wreckers. They have no credible credentials, so they want to sink the country. Sadly, their actions are also propagated by poor journalism, in most cases.

Long live Ghana and Ghanaians.
