But the Tsikatas, the Nana Addos, the K4s, the Rawlingses, the Obetsebis and all the so-called learned Ghanaians disregarded this farming practices and allowed the chiefs to sell all the tomato farming lands for urban development without a single agric policy to continue the Ghanaian traditional method of keeping farming closer to the people in order to reduce hunger in the metropole.
Now, tomato queens travelled all the way to Burkina to bring in tomatoes to Accra, and half of the produce that got rotten and decayed, are factored in the remaining healthy ones therefore driving the prices so high for the urban dwellers who are now occupying former tomato farms.
Is karma a bitch or what?
Still our block headed educated clowns don't get it, so now teenagers from Germany had figured it out for us and this became news?
From Tema to Ada used to be farms along the highways, not anymore.
So where will all these people get their food? Not even a demarcated park for all these millions of people.
The Achimota forest the only green belt within Accra that shelters us from green house emmissions has to be wrestled from Kuffours regime all else all would have been turned into concrete by now.
What's wrong with us that, all we can imagine with an available land is concrete structure? Is concrete structure all is to life, Ghana?
