I visited the Barekese Water head-works feeding Kumasi metropolis recently. The guide explained the two tunnels running under the lake. The small tunnel takes water straight to water works for treatment. The bigger tunnel was projected for power generation.

It is Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's Project.

Question! ECG, can you or can you not source and install a turbine here to generate power to augment the existing facilities? or politics here too?
