Lawless reached its crescendo as soon as the NDc assume the reign of governance in 2008. I do not mean to remind readers of the gruesome murders that went on in Agbobloshie, Cheriponi, Akwatia, Atiwa and many other related unsolved murders in Mills' era. Now if the execution style of murders in Kumasi do not connote state of lawlessness then I don't know what it is.

In my view, she should have been nice with the government of the day and do her best to share this view with them in good faith so that good solutions could be found.
Not the way she came in to criticise with the aim to please the Ashantis, with the intension to score political points.

Abusing Atta Mills in the presence of our children was not an act of lawlessness in the nation. Anyway it is nice you have begun to understand what Ghana is crying for.

I do not see her wise nor smart as she leaves with much bitter for nothing towards the NDC. She should have started with the boys within her party to straighten their stupid attacks on certain people, an example is the foolish behavior of that her OWUSU BEMPAH robbishing Tsikata for no good reason. Owusu's action is what we may call the beginning of lawlessness or the continuation of the lawlessness, a behavior that ought to be changed in this nation of ours.

Naturally the nation in general has to start with character change. A move that has to start with you the so called politicians who have entered into politics without being aware of position you have chosen and could say anything without thinking of the negative impact it could have on the minds of the people in Ghana, especially on our future children who are patiently watching us.

Anyway if she is now aware of what lawlessness is then I happily welcome that mind of hers, calling it a nice one.

We should revert from this method and start asking ourselves "how could it be done better?" Nkrumah, Rawlinings, Kufuor.... and Mills suffured it. After Mills death, when Mr Mahama took over, the oposition parties continued their critics immediately without waiting to see what he Mahama has for Ghana. It is realy high time we stoped this habit. It is no good politics, we should stop this habit. Yesturday somebody accused the police in Kumasi, asking the IGB to sack the police head immediately without questioning for not doing their work properly. The same man said one mr Gawusu, who according to him, well known in Kumasi as one of the killers, could not be arrested by the police. This was a reason enough for the police heads in Kumasi to be sacked. He failed to mention whether he ever reported the said Gawusu to the police for arrest. This is a mann heading an organisation Ghana. By not reporting the culprit, I fill he should rather face a punishment. We shout too much senseless. Thank you.

Konadu Agyeman Rawlings should come clean to tell the entire nation, who killed Yaa Asiedua one of the strong women who backed the 31st revolution and a member founder of 31st December Women Movement who stood in her diabolical ways to take over the movement after she Konadu had been invited as a matter of respect to become a Patron of the movement.

The reality is, Ghana is in embarrassing security mess but she and her husband has caused a lot more security harm to this once noble and peaceful nation that is I were her I will shameful keep mute after being given a Presidential pardon.

You should learn to respect the opinion of others. You are a greedy journalist who will say anything for money or favour. I have followed you comments for many many years but have never commented on them. But this particular issue is too important to let go.
You said ....but today that ONLY 3 people are killed...... This shows your total disrespect for the live of human being. We are in a new era and so we DON'T want any killing whatsoever no matter what, or how many we're killed yesterday or days before. If Mrs. Rawlings has come to protest about killing when many were killed during her time, that is not what is going to move us forwards as a nation but the comments of, among others, journalist like you
Now tell me, who are you defending?
Now listen, the new generation don't need your politics of lies, false pretend and throwing dust to the eyes of the people.

So Kwasi, my advice to you is, look back to your past, compare to your present and champion a new cause to make a better Ghana.

I admire any thing that moves our nation forward and will fight against anything that draws us apart. Let us all welcome constructive criticism and do away with foul words and divisive comments and deed.

Where are the weaponery brought into the country from Libya and eastern europe by Rawlings in the 1980s to arm his revolutionary peoples militia? It's no longer a secret that there are leaking government weapon stockpiles that the men we pay to provide internal and external national security are renting and selling to criminals.Not lost in the fray is the unspecified number of gunsmiths and blacksmiths churning out local manufactured guns.
We have over an liberalized gun acquisition process.My visit to the Ghana Police Service website was a stomach wrenching experience. All you need to acquire a gun in Ghana is walk into a police station. You have to be 18 and older and "you must be free from any mental disorder, ie.you must be mentally sound to avoid any future disaster." That's it. No background check? This is ridiculous and insane! Most of the regions police stations lack basic resources like access to a database, paper and electricity.
In the light of all these lapses our internal security system is not conceptualized and concretized to provide security that's the right of all citizens.Ironically, our police service is perceived to be anti society and pro government. National security, internal and external is all about the well-being of those in power and their appointees.

Gun Legislative overtures like everything else in the Ghana Parliament end up at the draft stage and never become a law and should it remotely become a law it'd never be implemented.
I'm not being alarmist if I say Kumasi is a microcosm of what's happening in Ghana. Matter of fact Ghana itself is a disaster waiting to happen because of irresposibility,recklessness, ineptitude,egocentrism and dereliction of duty by those whom the citizenry have entrusted their security, protection and well-being to.
