I know they will not give you the opportunity to exercise your know how because this nation believes in the idea of WE ATTENDED THE SAME VARSITY, WE ARE FROM THE SAME VILLAGE and so and so forth. The major problem is you Wayo never attended varsity in Ghana, and further more, you talk the truth, a style that is not welcome presently in Ghana, perhaps in the future.

I wish that all this good feelings you have for Ghana could one day materialise in a way that you could be given an opportunity so that you share those experiences with us in the area of energy. Keep in mind that when you Wayo is given the baton, you alone can not do it since many workers that will be around you will surely undermind all your efforts.

The problem there is lack of patrotism in the minds of the whole population so I wonder if even angel is place there things could work better.

I am not saying Kofi should shy away from the truth. Kofi brags a lot and it doesn't signal anything positive if he is to be a leader of our nation. Moreover if over the years these VRA & ECG executives have been able to lie and got their way with past leaders then the begging question is: Do our leaders know the state of affairs in our country? It looks like they are all "Simpa panin" leaders.
Back to the main issue, it's pathetic that Ghana is wallowing in this predicament. Each morning we wake to new discoveries of anything you can imagine but nothing changes for the ordinary Ghanaian. We are talking about some 23/24 million citizens yet we can't find solutions to our problems despite being surrounded by anything that turns into gold by touch. It's a crying shame.

Clearly, the technocrats don't have the interest of the nation at heart. They are only there to perpetuate the corruption and ill-gotten gains.
This is the reason for the leadership deficit we are facing as a country. Ghana needs a leader who is visionary and a dreamer as well.
Our problems as a nation can be solved easily by a leader who understands the role of private capital in nation building. Our energy problems can't be solved by the central government. This is a fact I will want all Ghanaians to understand. It can be solved by the private sector with the help of the government. The government therefore needs to support the private sector in syndicating capital for the accelerated development of the nation. This is the only way Ghana can surmount the multitude of problems confronting it as a nation.
I would further, like to clarify the mistaken belief that, it's only one party(I mean NPP) who can bring this about. Whoever the leader may be, only needs to understand what it takes to bring about development. It takes capital, and capital can be best accessed profitably by the private sector. This is so, because they are more accountable than the public sector. This is a proven fact in any economy. Even in US, there is corruption and a lot of leakage in the economy.
Ghana has an emerging private sector, well positioned to catapult the nation into a middle-income economy within the next five years; if the government is only willing to help and create the enabling environment for them to take of. The energy sector, excluding the oil industry is the future of this nation.
The private sector has the potential to access about $10 billion direct foreign capital with the next two years. This has the corresponding effect of reducing the nation's unemployment level to about 12% and significantly growing our economy.
On a more serious note, corruption in high places in Ghana got to stop. You visit the residences of Chief Directors and other technocrats, and all you see are cars of varied sizes and models. Our ministries have become gold mines for certain people. As a result, when it's time to retire compulsorily, they do not, and end up finding means to extend their stay by taking on contracts. We have rendered useless and meaningless the essence of the wage rationalization and consolidation exercises undertaken by Kwesi Botchway and the Rawlings administration. If people draw free fuel and are entitled to all those cars in their homes, then how much are they paid?
Thank you very much Chuck Kofi Wayo for motivating me to theorize on what we need to grow Ghana's economy.

When cant they look for alternatives and await for the dry seasons before it gets to them? I think now its about time they take a leave ande go to the ANTS, to learn from its ways.
These bosses should ask them selves some questions- what are there back up strategies? are they prepared now to seek aliternative back ups? well if not than they better now. They should take away their thinking of Nuclar and The Dams analogy from the table for these things want help the nation and consider the solar system of power.
This is waht Mr. Wayo is trying to tell them. We live in a country that finds it self in 24 X 7 X 4 x 12 ccondition of free natural supply of solar, why than do we think of Power sharing. Its like a fool, living in the aboudance of watre, and getting teast. Solar is expensive, but this is the clean energy source that Ghana should be able to afford.
Nuclar would only distroy the nation one day when applied so why go there? look at what occuried in Eastern Europe, Japan etc. this brings about the best brain of Osagyfo Dr. Nkrmah decalring Afica as the Nuclare free Zone. its about time Ghana uses its proceeds from the oil invention, to sola panels all the nation to give us an alternative means of power.

But unfortunately, every thing he established in Ghana, the leaders who came after him have destroyed all of them, this includes, numerous factories he built, Ghana Black star shipping Line, Ghana Airways, Hotels, Roads, Bridges and the rest. Even at the time of pursuing the building of Akosombo Dam the U.P (M.P´s) warned the Ghanaians that Nkrumah is dangering and enslaving the country in a powerful interest beyond his control. Every body should understand that all the suffering we are encountring in Ghana now are as a result of strong propagandas and trying to destroyed the good foundation established by the visionary man Nkrumah. Now we have all seen our fate, is too late now. We will take touch light to look for visionary man Nkrumah, but in most cases we wouldn´t find him.
