If your win is genuine forget about whether pink sheets are upto the number or not, facts are facts, contest the real issues and stop this unecessary delay tactics. The issues are about over voting, unknown pooling stations, unsigned pink sheets and so on, contest those issues, prove o thte court that those issues did not occur and stop relying on number of pink sheets technicality.

Indications are clear that Tsatsu Tsikata, counsel for the National Democratic Congress, 3rd respondent in the ongoing election petition hearing at the Supreme Court, is banking his hope on exploiting technicalities in his desperate bid to save his client from defeat. Mr Tsikata’s NUMEROUS BORING DAYS of cross examination appears to have failed in mounting a strong challenge to the case of the petitioners in the context of the two issues being determined by the court. The issues are whether there were statutory and constitutional violations, irregularities or malpractices in the conduct of the December presidential election and whether, if any, they affected the outcome of the election.
The NDC’s counsel has mainly focused on defects in respect of labelling of exhibits by the petitioners, as well as those identified in respect of the pink sheets and affidavits. These defects, according to legal experts, are ‘curable’ and do not have significant effect on the case of the petitioners.

Let me elaborate: Yesterday on joy TV`s PM Express programme, a frequent guest panelist,Sidney Casely-Hayford,an accountant by profession,begun his remarks by indicating that he had written an article before the Dec 2012 elections in which he had indicated there was no was the ruling NDC party was going to be returned to power! He was therefore pleased that the petitioners had commenced this current action in the SC, and was confiedent his earlier prediction will materialize! Remember that he must have been invited to join two identifiable party reps in the persons of Messrs Ayikoi Otoo, a fmr. Atty-gen in the Kuffour administration,and Kudjoga Adawu,a member of the NDC legal team,to shed more light on the 'confusion',as well as the work that KPMG,the international accounting firm,was expected to do in order to verify the actual count of pink sheets tenderd as exhibits by the petitioners, and in turn, supplied to the respondents in this dispute. To my chagrin, this gentleman even side-stepped a direct request from the host to help explain the impasse and cofusion to listeners,but he conveniently to chose not to do so, but rather commented on what the NDC lawyers were trying to achieve by having the actual count of pink sheets acertained - To get the whole proceedings re-started all over again. Can anybody believe this guy?
Of course, I suspect he was unaware juat like Kweku Baako that Gloria Akuffo had granted interviews in which she attributed the increase in the number of boxes with pink sheets to some "mislabelling", presumably on the part of registry officials,who have remained silent on this 'problem',and allwing all manner of speculation to run like bush fire!
The pertinent question that has been left unanswered is where were the 'new, boxes,when the registry officials introduced the initial 24 boxes on Thursday? And why did these new batch of boxes contain pink shhets that appeared to have been lumped together,contrary to the 'neat' classification the petitioners had outlined in paragraphs 44-67in their pleadings? Many of us watching these proceedings may not be lawyers,but we are not stupid either!
