Indications are clear that Tsatsu Tsikata, counsel for the National Democratic Congress, 3rd respondent in the ongoing election petition hearing at the Supreme Court, is banking his hope on exploiting technicalities in his desperate bid to save his client from defeat. Mr Tsikata’s NUMEROUS BORING DAYS of cross examination appears to have failed in mounting a strong challenge to the case of the petitioners in the context of the two issues being determined by the court. The issues are whether there were statutory and constitutional violations, irregularities or malpractices in the conduct of the December presidential election and whether, if any, they affected the outcome of the election.

The NDC’s counsel has mainly focused on defects in respect of labelling of exhibits by the petitioners, as well as those identified in respect of the pink sheets and affidavits. These defects, according to legal experts, are ‘curable’ and do not have significant effect on the case of the petitioners.

Just read his comment. He's saying that even if its proven that there are irregularities, the votes should not be nullified because that will impose Nana on us. On him, and who, I wonder?

What about the millions who voted for Nana? They should grin and bear it? It is such unintelligent attitudes that drive the nation back-wards, just the same way tro tro and taxi drivers behave as if they don't have brains.

Under normal circumstances one would have thought the matter here is very simple. Whatever the Supreme Court decides is final, whether we think it's fair or not. The Constitution says so. We can't all get what we want all the time so in an orderly, decent, intelligent democracy, means are put in place for resolving such disputes.

But unfortunately, we can't rely on the common-sense of Ghanaians. Sadly, I cannot foresee a situation where NDC supporters will accept a ruling that will take them out of power.

Majority of them think like this Kofi Wayo with no respect for laid-down rules. I am left to hope that in future elections, most of these irregularities will be curbed but even then, I cannot be sure. The people we're dealing with don't learn, do they?

Before a TV audience counted in millions, he exhibited bad manners, impatience, repetitiousness and confusion. Then he resorted to delaying mechanisms. Anyone with a strong case doesn't do that. Added to the attempt by Gbevlo-Lartey's security goons to interfere with the court process on the flimsy excuse that they wanted to guard the pink sheets, one wonders whether there is an agenda to shhotf Mahama in the foot! Because it is so patent that Tsatsu was annoying everyone, including the judges, who are human, after all, and must have been irritated by Tsatsu's headstrong refusal to listen to their gentle prodding or even straightforward advice.

It is said that there is no bad publicity. But the notoriety Tsatsu has courted must have has finished him? What did he expect to gain by such repetitiveness? Bore the nation to death? haviour? Pity Mahama, who selected him to be the NDC's lawyer.

What did you use for the analysis, your own stuff or the same evidence you brought to the court? Now that your analysis, is no more relevant,what are you relying on? NPP need to strategize how to approach this case otherwise they will embarrass themselves.How they led everyone believes that they have a mountain top evidence to proof that the election was stolen, that's not what we're experiencing.They haven't showed us any thievery except that now they're basing their case on law.But to my understanding, the laws are made to serve citizens but not to take someone's right from him. Laws are made to protect and serve its citizen not other way around.If a law deprived someone's right then it is bad law and it needs to be amended. God bless us all!!

Kojo Tsikata I learnt is seriously sick awaiting to be infested with maggots whilst alive and his cousin Tsatsu though not bedridden but looks like a dead body because his mind is full of evil intents.In the revolutionary days he was being touted legal luminary or wizard not knowing decent lawyers did not associate themselves that illegal regime and now democracy has exposed and his demeanor shows during the cross examination.
